Pampered Wedding Marry Me, Mr. Langford

Chapter 562

Chapter 562

Hearing the duke’s words, his subordinate felt a little surprised.

"A woman bumped into you just now? Is she a thief? Have your things been stolen?"

"No!" the duke said. "I just think that she looks familiar. She looks like..."

He couldn’t help but sigh, feeling that his thought was a bit absurd.

John and the duke had searched for that person for so many years. How could she have appeared in front of him so easily?

"Forget it. You will not understand it even if I tell you. I just want to get information about her!”

The duke added, "By the way, don't let her know that you're investigating her. Got it?"

"Yes.”

The subordinate left, curious about the woman that even the duke wanted to investigate.

How strange!

Tina left that corridor and walked out of the hospital along with the crowd. Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

She was walking alone on the street, but strange enough, she felt that she should go back to the hospital as soon as possible.

Yet Samuel was still talking to Keith, so she couldn’t go back instantly.

Strolling outside was much better than sitting outside the ward and thinking a lot.

The lights on the square were shining at night, and street performers were playing music, which made people relax.

In the wind, Tina couldn't help but zip up her jacket, but she stood still.

She was listening to a street performer playing music. Her eyes somehow turned wet.

"Hello, Miss?"

Suddenly, someone called Tina and pulled her out of her thoughts.

The street performer had stopped playing music. Seeing that Tina was in a trance, he couldn’t help asking, "Are you all right?"

"I’m fine. Have I disturbed you?" Tina hurriedly wiped her tears.

"Of course not. You were listening so attentively that I wonder if you need help."

’’It's because you played very well, and it made me think a lot."

Tina had nothing else to do and talked to him for a while.

Suddenly, a scream came from the dense crowd.

"The thief snatched my wallet and ran away. Catch him quickly!"

Hearing this, the crowd tensed up, subconsciously looking at the place where the voice was from.

As expected, the square was full of tourists that had been the targets for the thieves. And a thief snatched the wallet from a tourist.

Seeing that the thief was running toward them, the surrounding people wanted to dodge, but Tina frowned.

"Get out of the way!" the thief shouted arrogantly at

Tina in the local accent.

The next moment, Tina raised her leg and kicked him down.

The thief fell to the ground. Tina was about to catch him when she saw something in the thief's hand.

The onlookers next to him suddenly shrieked.

"The thief... is holding a knife!"
