Jack looked at the energy bubbles around him.

Naturally, he failed to spot anything at all. After thinking about it, he decided randomly on three energy bubbles like the others. It would be down to his luck whether or not he managed to get something.

Lourain thought about it for a long time and picked one energy bubble close to Jack and another close to himself. After that, he randomly picked one from somewhere else. Even though he could not see anything, he was still trying to get as lucky as possible.

Time slowly ticked away.

After a while, everyone had settled on their choices. All the chosen energy bubbles turned red when they were in the hands of the participants.

The unchosen ones remained white. After the selection was completed, the unchosen energy bubbles slowly rose into the air, returning to where they came from.

After a brilliant white light flashed, the energy bubbles that were not chosen all disappeared.

Right after that, there were cracking sounds coming from everyone's hands. They looked down to see the red energy bubbles rapidly falling apart, turning into pure energy and disappearing.

"What?! There's nothing in there at all! Out of three bubbles, I didn't get a single thing!" Someone shouted out angrily.

"Me too! When I chose the bubbles, I purposely picked them from far apart, but they were still empty. I didn't even get a low-level treasure."

"Am I really that unlucky?! I didn't even get a fifth-grade treasure! I thought I would at least be able to get something bad, but it was all empty in the end!"

Sounds of misery could be heard everywhere.

Those who did not get anything were quite angry and felt like they were just incredibly unlucky.

Quite a few of the participants were already red with anger. They started to curse and swear.

In truth, they did not know who they were cursing at, but just needed to vent their frustrations, or they would go crazy.

Some were lucky as well. A man in green robes said happily, "Come here and look! Isn't this the Violet Grass? Are there any alchemists or knowledgeable folk here? Help me see if this is Violet Grass!"

Everyone looked over to see someone holding a completely Violet herb throughout. The herb looked quite strange, there were veins all around its leaves. The veins were glowing faintly with violet light, and quite a few people had looks of admiration on their faces.

There were plenty of looks of jealousy as well. They all cursed internally, wondering why they got nothing from their energy bubbles while someone got a Violet Grass!

Someone knowledgeable nodded, "It really is Violet Grass. You really are quite lucky as that is worth over ten million on the market!"

Ten million was equal to one piece of purple gold. It was no small number for most regular warriors. Back then, Lourain had been so excited after he won ten million from gambling.
