Jack frowned as he said coldly, "He jumped to conclusions too quickly. He could have spared his own life. I've always been a man of my word. Since I agreed that I would let you go if you speak the truth, then I would have done it."

Brock had a stiff look on his face as he summoned up the courage to stammer out, "Then can you swear on your life?"

Jack coldly looked at him, causing Brock to shudder.
