Mystey Chapter 92
Selina bad breakfast with Trevon, pretending as it last night's events were just a dream, Tevin played along perfectly, Jou Selina was about to breathe a sigh of relief while dropping Trevin off at the Insight Group for work, she was fixing his tie when Trevon, looking down with those soul piercing eyes, stirred the air with a sultry hint, "Honey, don't I get a good morning kiss as a reward"
Selina's heart skipped a beat. Palling on "Trevon's tie with tax almoyance, she quipped, "Expecting a reward for your mischief? Keep dreaming, hubby."
With a teasing smirk, Trevon replied in his low, alluring voice. "And what do I have to do to earn one?"
"Depends on your performance. Now off you go to work, don't be late
"I am the boss. Even if I'm late, who's going to call me out on it?" "hevon pressed, reluctant to end their exchange, but Selina firmly nudged him out the door.
Aware that her blush had betrayed her reaction to their forced kiss from the day before, Trevon realized he needed to be patient. A good hunter always waits for the right moment to catch the prize. As soon as Trevon was gone, Selina hurried to her car, heading straight for Brilliance.
As she entered the company, she could feel the shift in everyone's gaze. To everyone but Derrick and Christina, Selina was known not as Trevon's wife, but the newcomer who passed Madge's review on the first try-a groundbreaking revelation!
Ignoring the curious stares, Selina went straight to Derrick's desk, Christina's desk was empty.
Derrick had been informed by Trevon personally. Handing over an access card, he said, "This is the key card. Swipe this to get into the engineering department. There's enough machinery and materials there for you to fashion necklaces and bracelets. Anything more complex, you'll have, to head to a specialized factory"
"That's plenty." Selina replied confidently. "Derrick, you know my design philosophy. The simpler, the better. It's all about aesthetic, not piling on the materials-that's just dull. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
Receiving a scrutinizing look from Derrick, he stood up, extending his hand. "Let me officially welcome you to Brilliance, Selina. I don't know how long you'll be with us, but as long as you're here, you're one of us. And I think no one doubts you talent now,"
Derrick had come to terms with Selina's status as Trevon's wife but intended to treat her as any other designer in the office. Selina's smile curved, "I hope we'll get along well. Derrick
After spending a whole day assembling necklaces and bracelets, Selina immediately called Lydia and Malcolm. Malcolm didn't pick up, but Lydia answered the phone; hearing the news, she exclaimed with joy, "I'm going to call everyone to meet up at Starlight Club right away. Selina, you remember the place, right?
"How could I forget? I'm on my way.
The atmosphere today in the Starlight Club was unlike Selina's first visit, which was all about underground rock. Today, it was the violin. The elegant and soaring melodies of the violin added a touch of softness to the Starlight Club's bold and impactful color design. Of course, this was Trevon's club, and the guests he invited to perform were all notable figures. The Starlight Club even had one of the best pianists worldwide play the piano for its grand opening. In other words, Trevon spared no expense to create the right vibe. Selina, over here."
Lydia had already found a spot and was waiting for Selina, who walked over with a smile and set down her bag. "Where's everyone else?"

They're not here yet, which is perfect. Where's my secret gift? I don't want the others to get jealous when they see it." Lydia rubbed her hands together like a squirrel in anticipation, her face alight with eagerness.
"Here you go. Let's see if you like it." Selina didn't play coy. She landed Lydia a box, signaling for her to open it. When Lydia idid, a silver chain necklace with a skull design that completely rocked appeared before her eyes, and Lydia was ecstatic. "Selina, how does your brain even work? I've gotten tired of skull-designed necklaces, but the one you made looks so cool! Help me put it on, I need to see this in the mirror!"
"Okay"
poses,
After Selina helped her wear the necklace, Lydia checked herself out with the mirror, tried various underground rock and nodded in satisfaction, "Not bad, not bad at all! I absolutely love this necklace! Come on, Selina, let's take some selfies." "Sure."
After they finished snapping photos, Lydia casually sent them to Malcolm. She knew Malcolm was busy and wouldn't look at his phone right away, but when he did, he would be so jealous. It would drive him crazy.
Just as Selina turned her head, she suddenly caught sight of two familiar figures. The two, seeing Selina clearly, couldn't help but blurt out in unison, "It's you?!"
Selina felt a headache coming on. She thought, "What kind of matchup is this? One is Jennifer, who had been thoroughly shown up by me on the violin before. The other is Rence, the pretend girlfriend of Manuel. Both have been bested by me. And now, here they are, together, showing up right in front of me?
Jennifer lowered her voice in surprise when she realized Renee knew Selina too. "When did you get to know Selina?"
Rence was too embarrassed to mention the time at the barbecue place where Selina had single-handedly trounced a team from the judo club, so she gritted her teeth and spat, "Jennifer, all you need to know is that she's an enemy of both Manuel and me. That's enough!"
Lazy as ever, Selina chimed in, "Looking for a fight? I'm always ready. How about this time I handicap myself to one hand and both feet? What do you say?"
"You!" Renee was furning, practically ready to throttle Selina on the spot. Jennifer quickly held her back, "Renee, calm down, don't fall for Selina's tricks! She may look frail, but she's a tough cookie. Plus, don't you have a date with Manuel tonight?"
That reminded Rence of her rendezvous with Manuel at the Starlight Club to watch Jennifer's violin performance. She managed to compose herself with difficulty, "Selina, don't get cocky. The humiliation you gave to both Manuel and me last time, I will make you pay back sooner or later, with interest!"
Selina taunted, "Why wait? Let's settle it now. I'm offering you a one-handed fight, and you, a black belt in judo, seem to be too chicken? I'm really questioning who was the genius that certified you. It'd be laughably pathetic if word got
got out."
