Chapter 33
Chapter 33
Collins‘ designated designer, Norna, walked straight over.
She first reprimanded the clerk for negligence, then bowed to Madison, saying, “I’m sorry, Miss Guzman. It was my oversight that caused you trouble.”
Madison smiled. “Miss Gaye, trouble you to clarify for me.”
Norna frowned and said, “What’s this? I’ve already made it clear on Twitter. Is there still someone questioning whether these two items are knockoffs?”
The crowd gasped. The designer actually came to the scene to clarify for the customer.
Kara panicked and blurted out, “How could she be a VIP customer for Collins? Miss Norna, don’t be deceived by Madison. Despite her innocent face, she’s skilled in all sorts of underhanded methods!”
Norna sneered. “Miss Guzman is a super VIP customer for Collins. Moreover, I gave these two items to Miss Guzman for trial, and we released them as new products after obtaining her approval.”
Kara and the others turned pale and almost fell to the ground.
Madison said to Norna, “Thank you, Miss Norna, for the clarification.”
“You are a lifetime VIP of Collins. Since you’ve purchased our products, we naturally provide you with our best
service.”
Madison and Norna exchanged a glance. Norna turned and left, giving a cold warning to Kara and the others as she passed by. “If you insult our super VIP customers by claiming they use knockoffs, we’ll
see you in court.”
Not far away, Micah raised his chin towards Neville and said, “Neville, I misunderstood you. You actually arranged a super VIP treatment for your ex–wife. Do you know how tricky that is?”
A nameless celebrity Micah used to date wanted to become Collins‘ super VIP. And Micah found out that besides passing through layers of screening, one also needed to top on 10 million dollars into the card in advance.
Micah didn’t want to waste too much effort and money on the celebrity, so he refused.
Neville, with a gloomy expression, said, “It wasn’t me.”
Micah said in surprise, “What, then who? Could it be Ross? But that doesn’t make sense. Collins values the background and reputation of their customers. Ross, with just his status as an illegitimate child, won’t qualify.”
Neville was also puzzled. Becoming a Collins VIP customer was practically a given for any woman in the upper class. He had thought about arranging for Madison to be a VIP, but she shot down the idea, and it never happened.
At the time of their divorce, Neville was sure that she didn’t take any luxury items, not even the card he used to send her money every month. In the past three years, he transferred 60 thousand dollars to the bank card every month, but there wasn’t a single cent less in the account.
He knew that the Guzman family was greedy and wanted to get money from him, so he didn’t know how Madison got the money.
Micah half–jokingly said, “Could your ex–wife be a fat cat? Did she stay in the Preston family to train her willpower?”
“Get lost!”
Madison had been obedient in the Preston family. Regardless of what he gave her, she accepted it without
complaint.
Neville increasingly felt he couldn’t understand her, or rather, he had never truly understood her in these three.
years.
By now, Kara and the others were panicking. They exchanged glances, intending to leave, but Madison grabbed
their wrists.
Madison looked at them with a cold smile. “Girls, did you forget something?”
Kara pretended to be calm. “What?” NôvelDrama.Org owns this.
“You said that if my bag and scarf were genuine, you would compensate me ten times the market price. I just calculated it. The specific amount is 4.34 million dollars. I’ll be generous and round it down. Just compensate me with 4 million dollars.”
Kara was furious. “It’s daylight robbery!”
Raquel angrily joined in. “4 million dollars? How greedy you are, you heartless bitch!”
Madison calmly opened the recording on her phone for everyone to hear.
“Fine, let’s check. But let’s make it clear. If your things are knockoffs, not only do you need to apologize to us, but you also have to carry this bag and wear this scarf while streaking around Norxton!”
“Alright, but what if my bag and scarf are genuine?”
“Then we’ll streak.”
“You don’t have a good shape, and your streaking might scare others. No as mean as you are, I disdain anything that will insult others. Just compensate me for my bad and scarf.”
“Fine, I’ll compensate you ten times the price if they are genuine.”
Madison raised her cold eyes and looked at Kara and the others, saying, “Society will be in chaos if everyone goes back on their words like you.”
Hearing her use their own words, which they had mocked her with, to confront them, the girls were instantly speechless. But what shocked them even more was the compensation of 4 million dollars.
These female students weren’t from wealthy families, especially Kara and Raquel, who had to apply for scholarships every year. They were able to hang out with Daisy solely because of their flattery skills.
Knowing the truth, the onlookers immediately changed their stance.
“Girls, you have to keep your word.”
“Yes, you were so aggressive just now. Why are you so timid when it comes to you?”
Kara and the others, realizing the hard approach was futile, resorted to the soft approach.
Kara suddenly looked at Madison with teary eyes and said, “Miss Guzman, we were wrong. Please spare us.”
Won’t afford

Raquel joined in the act. “Yes, Miss Guzman, we are just students. We’re not as rich as you are. We can’t afford 400 dollars, let alone 4 million dollars.”
The girls cried and looked pitiful.
People, who were prone to sympathize with the weak, stood with the girls. Moreover, these young girls cried so hard, which made others feel distressed. Someone started to speak up for them.
“The girls have it tough. I think you should let it go, Miss.”
“Yeah, you’re a super VIP at Collins and you don’t lack 4 million dollars. Give them a way out.”
“Since they know their mistakes, just let them go.”
Madison was amused. Daisy’s friends were cunning. They knew how to take advantage of people’s kindness. In the end, Madison became a wicked and malicious person.
