MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Amelia’s cheeks flushed by his bluntness, he just asked her out in front of everyone.

“Since I won’t have anymore shoot today I think it’s a yes, give me some minutes I’ll be with you shortly”.

Few moments later Amelia changed into her former clothes, kelvin saw her approaching his car.

Liam sighed for the umpteenth time in a row he has been trying to reach Amelia for quite some time now but her phone was out of reach.

His car pulled over in front of star entertainment, after alighting his pace was hurried.

Mr Mike and the directors stood up on seeing him. “Mr Grayson! what brings you here?” Mr Mike came forward stretching his hand for a handshake which was ignored by Liam.

His hawk like eyes searched the vicinity he was in searching for someone. “Where is miss Hart?” Liam demanded impatiently.

“Mr Grayson she left right after she was done with her shoot”.

“darn it!” Liam cursed silently.

“She went on a date with kelvin”

Kelvin stared at Amelia who was picking on her food “what is wrong?”

Amelia raised her head when she heard him speak.

“I’m okay, it’s just that I’m a bit stressed lately”.

Kelvin chuckled “is he stressing you that much?” Kelvin said wiggling his brows at her.

Amelia blinked severally “What? kelvin! no I don’t mean that!”.

He laughed out at her cute reaction, “What do you think I mean?” he asked curiously.

Amelia blushed red in embarrassment luckily for her, her phone vibrated on the table.

It was a text from Liam, ‘get out of there this minute’. she read out slowly.

‘who does he think he is to order me around?! hmph!”..

Liam read her reply with creased brows “damn this stubborn lady!”.

He came out of the car heading into the restaurant hurriedly.

His eyes darted around searching for her until he spotted her by the glass window side with a guy, at that moment Kelvin leaned forward to Amelia to whisper something to her ears.

Liam’s hand tightened as he matched straight to Amelia jerking her off her seat, without waiting to hear any explanation he pulled her out with him forcefully.

Amelia winced in pain “Liam what is wrong with you? let me go you are hurting me!”.

Liam pushed her into the car and got in afterwards. “hey….

“Don’t start now!” Liam cut her off, anger very obvious in his voice and eyes.

“you have no idea of how your life is in brewing danger! instead you went out on a date with some guy”.

“I called you multiple times but you…”

Liam sighed exasperatedly looking straight ahead.

“W.. what do you mean by that? and what danger are you talking about?” Amelia asked feeling somewhat scared.

Liam ignored her question, his phone made a beeping sound he raised it to his ear “I need more backup they are tailing us!”.

Amelia sat up looking through the side mirror she saw a truck behind them heading towards their car in full speed.

“shit!”.

Liam embraced Amelia slightly, the truck rammed their car.

Amelia let out a loud shriek tightening her embrace on Liam.

The car skidded on the road till it hit the asphalt causing it to stop abruptly..

Liam sat outside the lobby waiting for the doctor to come out it’s been a while since Amelia was admitted into the hospital.

Luckily for her no major injury was sustained. He picked up his phone that vibrated in his pants pocket “good keep an eye on them”.

Liam stood up as soon as the doctor came out “there’s no need to worry Mr Grayson nothing serious at all”.

“She fainted due to shock nothing more” the doctor said and left Liam standing alone.

Liam opened the door to her ward “Hey be gentle with that! I really don’t need a bandage” Amelia whined at the nurse.

The nurse sighed, this was far the worst patient she has ever treated.

Amelia’s eyes met his, the nurse finished tending to her bruises and left the two alone.

“your stubbornness nearly caused you your life today!” Liam scolded.

Amelia narrowed her eyes at him “me? you know what I’m pretty sure that it’s one of your numerous secret lovers that tried to kill me, please reassure them that I won’t steal you away, you are definitely not my type!” Amelia stated.

Liam was perplexed, “Crazy girl, it looks to me that you are fine now. we are not going back to the ancestral home”.

Amelia hopped down from the bed and pretended to be weak, she dramatically fell back down hoping for Liam to hold her back from falling.

As if realizing what she was about to do he moved out of the way causing her to crash heavily on the ground.

Liam started walking away “get up and stop fooling around!”.

The door closed with a slight bang “jerk! heartless! Arrogant man!” she cursed through gritted teeth rubbing her sour butt that landed heavily on the ground.

Amelia returned back with Liam to his house, she was quite surprised to see the number of heavy bodied guards surrounding the environment with different kinds of weapon.

“Liam! I hope you aren’t thinking of restricting my movements!” she lamented.

It was more easier for her to fight off her former guards because they weren’t really hefty but now?…. she was sure sure that these new guards will squeeze her to a punch if she dares act smart with them.

“Hmm kind off” Liam commented walking into the building.

Somewhere in the city.

There was loud crash as a man violently threw down everything on his table, she escaped death yet again. How unlucky he truly was, one of his Henchmen came in bowing slightly “Boss the truck driver has been caught by Mr Grayson”.

He ran his hand through his hair, “Why is the Grayson getting involved in my affairs now? all i want is that lady dead! Amelia Hart your doom is not too far!”.

A lady walked into the room looking at the disheveled state “don’t you think you are over reacting? it’s obvious your plan is bound to fail since the Grayson’s are involved now!” the lady said walking towards him.

In the next instance he pulled her harshly to himself “You are just a thing to play with don’t try to get yourself into my personal life”. He pushed her with a bit too much force towards the long sofa.

His lips formed a deep smirk as he pulled his shirt off, the lady shook her head slightly trying to get up from the couch.
