Chapter 180
Scott confidently presented the medical records Bradley had given him earlier, stating, “Liliane’s heart.
condition is indeed congenital. It’s impossible for her to have children.”
Bradley’s eyes widened in shock.
“Mr. Warner, Liliane’s genuine medical records should be at the hospital. You can obtain them there,”
Scott asserted.
With certainty, Scott continued. “Based on my observations and Wilson’s confirmation, Liliane’s heart
condition is undoubtedly congenital. Girls with congenital heart conditions like Liliane cannot have
children or engage in intimate relationships…”
Bradley had never suspected that Liliane was deceiving him. He never imagined that she would use a
child obtained elsewhere to impersonate his son!
What made it even more despicable was that he had lost his own daughter because of this illegitimate
child.
“Scott, take care and get some rest,” Bradley said, sending Scott’s secretly recorded video to his
phone. A chilling aura emanated from Bradley’s deep eyes as he left the ward. Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.
‘Liliane Anstey!’
Tinkerbell’s death pierced Bradley’s heart like a thorn. Discovering that Liliane couldn’t conceive Felix,
he felt like a fool.
If Felix wasn’t his biological son, what about the paternity test from before? Who had aided Liliane in
fabricating all the information, from her pregnancy to childbirth?
Xara instinctively tightened her grip, observing Bradley filled with killing intent as she voiced her
suspicions. “Mr. Warner, I suspect that the car accident we just experienced wasn’t an accident.”
When Esther was taken away by the ambulance, it should have been one from the nearest hospital
under the Warner Group’s jurisdiction. Even if it was a private hospital, arranging for her to be
transported to a distant facility was not feasible.
During Xara’s statement at the police station, she discovered that the driver was there to apprehend
the mistress but ended up targeting the wrong person. It was hard for her to believe that it was merely
a coincidence.
“I’ll look into it,” Bradley stated.
As Bradley glanced at the still-unconscious Esther, the realization that her heart could have been
harvested if he had arrived even a moment later sent shivers down his spine.
Xara contemplated her appearance at the police station today, knowing that her identity could no longer
remain concealed. She would have to resign once again.
“Furthermore, Mr. Warner, I’m submitting my resignation.” Xara asserted.
Bradley, asserting his dominance, replied coldly, “I won’t allow it.”
Considering Esther’s psychological condition, Bradley wondered what would happen to her if she left.
“Mr. Warner, I’m only resigning from the hospital. Rest assured. I’ll continue to provide care for your
wife until she recovers.”
Bradley looked deeply into Xara’s eyes and retorted, “Dr. Sadler, what are you afraid of?”
Xara forced a smile, not wanting to reveal her true feelings buried deep within. She simply stated, “Mr.
Warner, when we signed the contract, I made it clear that you must allow me to leave if I desired.”
She couldn’t afford to take any risks. She would lose her hard-earned freedom once again if he
discovered her whereabouts. The mere thought of that unpredictable and volatile man, akin to a devil,
made Xara instinctively yearn to escape to the farthest corners of the earth-somewhere he could never
find her.
