Chapter 1906 Twenties
Chapter 1906 Twenties
Lucas was already playing with the kids when Rosalie and Byron woke up.
Estelle was the closest to him. After all, Lucas had been gentle and patient toward her when he treated her back then. He had tried everything he could to help her recover.
Thus, Estelle took him as her family.
Lucian and Nox were also friendly. They called Lucas 'Uncle Lucas', yet they did not know that Lucas had taken them as his experimental subjects.
Lucas admitted the three little ones were geniuses, indeed.
He had known Byron for years but had not thought Byron was a genius. The three little ones would definitely surpass Byron over time. That was probably also because of Rosalie’s outstanding genes.
Estelle showed the clothing she designed and the marketing percentage of Comfy’s sales in the kid’s wear industry. The revenue shocked Lucas.
“Byron, you're indeed a family of businesspeople. Rosalie’s Petal Talk and even Estie’s Comfy are doing great. Are you planning to take the lead in every industry?”
Byron took Lucas to a corner to have tea as they talked. He tried to make Lucas speak out about his trouble and even suggested Lucas be the CEO of Petal Talk.
“Many things have happened recently. I’m sure you have heard of them, right?” Byron asked.
Lucas nodded. He had indeed heard of them.
He knew about Wendy’s crazy act, Xander poisoning Rosalie, and even Chloe doing something silly to get Byron to dump Rosalie.
Although he was not in Coast City, his family or Andrius would tell him about everything that happened.
What surprised him most was Chloe’s decision.
Of course, he did expect it, though. He knew that Chloe had a crush on Byron.
“Forget it. I don’t think I can beat about the bush with you. I have only one request. Don’t leave the country again and stay back. Consider if you want to be the CEO of Petal Talk. Maybe you can help manage the company for some time?”
Byron looked at Lucas’s face, trying to observe his expression.
Lucas was startled upon hearing that.
He had never thought Byron would hand over such an important position to a psychiatrist like him.
He chuckled and answered, “Byron, are you planning to bring me back on the path of business? Is Petal Talk a practice ground for me?”
Lucas did not know the latest market value of Petal Talk. Before this, he only knew the market value of it was ten billion. It was only a practice ground compared to the Montgomery family's company which had a market value of approximately 300 billion. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
“That isn't a practice ground. After all, the market value of Petal Talk has reached 60 billion. Moreover, the market value is still rising.”
Byron smiled meaningfully.
“Damn! It has risen so much? It's only been… two months? Lucas was taken aback, yet he started pondering.
Byron did not urge him to decide and waited silently.
Rosalie walked over and realized the atmosphere seemed serious. Thus, she guessed they might have already gotten to the point.
“Byron, I've been worrying about something recently. I'm familiar with the Greenbloom Needling Technique now. I've also gotten a few ancient books, yet I can't find anyone interested in learning it. Sigh, what should I do about this matter?”
Even Rosalie herself felt that her acting skills seemed poor.
However, the result was better than expected.
Lucas’ eyes lit up in joy, and his hesitation dissipated immediately.
“Rosalie, are you looking for a student to teach your medical skills? Are you planning to teach them yourself?”
“Yes. My teacher said its time for me to get a few students. I plan to get those who have talent and teach them from young so that they can inherit the skills.”
Rosalie was not lying. She had learned medicine many years ago when she was still young.
“Rosalie, would you be able to accept a student in his… 20s?” Lucas asked.
