My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball

Chapter 1861 Tacit Understanding

Chapter 1861 Tacit Understanding

Rosalie walked out of the operating room, took off her mask, and gave Mary a knowing smile.

"Mae, the operation is successful!"

Mary stood up quickly, trembling with uneasiness one second, and froze in the next second.

Immediately, surprise overtook her expression.

She flew up and hugged Rosalie tightly.

"Rosie, thank you so much! Thank you for saving my mother! You are my savior; I don't know how to repay you..."

She became incoherent. Rosalie hugged her back and patted her back lightly with her right hand.

Rosalie was encouraging. "She’s fine, she’s fine now! Auntie Wilson's heart failure problem has been completely resolved. She will be fine from now on."

Mary wept with joy, tears streaming down her face.

Byron shot the little woman a look of admiration and gave her a thumbs up.

Rosalie told Mary to take good care of her mother but immediately wrapped in exhaustion herself. She was completely spent.

"Okay, it's almost dawn. You should go back with Mr. Lawrence quickly. Get a good sleep, I will take care of everything." Mary said with concern.

Her mood had completely calmed down. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Rosalie nodded and left the hospital with Byron.

As she walked out of the hospital, she was so tired that she could not move her legs. In the end, Byron squatted down slightly, picked her up on his back, and went to the parking spot.

After getting in the car, Rosalie fell asleep while lying down in the back seat.

Byron slowed down and drove steadily to let her have a good sleep.

When they got home, he was reluctant to wake her up. Fortunately, Rosalie woke up but was still in a daze.

Immediately, the man picked her up like a princess and carried her straight to the bedroom.

Rosalie was full of happiness with such support. With a smile on her lips, she fell asleep deeply.

This sleep went on till the evening. It was past dinner time when she woke up.

Rosalie went downstairs after washing up. She greeted the kids while listening to them having fun.

Benedict and Melody were both there. As soon as Melody saw her, she immediately stopped feeding soup to Estie, got up, and walked to the kitchen. "Rosalie, I'll warm up the food for you. Wait a moment!"

"Mom, it’s okay. I can do it myself!" Rosalie called out.

Benedict smiled and said, "Don't worry about it, let her. This is what a mother-in-law should do! I heard from Byron that you worked so hard last night to save Miss Wilson's mother. That's amazing!"

"Dad, this is what I should do, and it's nothing. It's hard work for you two elders to help take care of the three little ones."

"Hahaha, we can't wait. We don’t mind at all if you let us take care of these three little kids every day! If there’s nothing else, you should rest more. Don't always be busy with the research institute."

Rosalie has always respected Benedict's open-mindedness and generosity.

Byron came back as soon as she had dinner.

They truly had a tacit understanding. He came home with a lot of gifts and supplements, which were suitable for visiting patients. Then, the two set off for the hospital again.

After more than ten hours of care, Auntie Wilson had woken up.

Mary took care of her every step of the way, staring at the electrocardiogram the whole time. She found that the heartbeat frequency increased, and the heart was getting stronger and stronger. She did not feel tired at all.

Rosalie and Byron pushed open the door and went in to visit.

Auntie Wilson's complexion looked visibly rosier than before the operation. This was a response to the normal blood supply.

"Auntie Wilson, my husband and I have come to visit you."
