Chapter 1845 Something Went Wrong On The Three Clients’ Side
It was the day those companies moved into the newly built office building in Coast City.
It had more than a hundred floors. The Murray family’s international trading company occupied more than 20 floors in between.
Beatrice wore office attire as she sat in the office room of the finance department’s director, checking through the company’s financial statement this month.
After concluding the report, she was overjoyed and quickly dialed her brother’s number.
“Alistair, congratulations! The revenue of the import trading doubled this month. It has increased 130% from last month’s revenue. Your plan is working.”
The business field was just like a battlefield. Beatrice had to admit her brother was indeed brilliant.
“We're still far from achieving our goal. We've snatched three clients from Lawrence Corporation, yet he still has many projects. This is unbelievable. You can see how good Byron is from this!”
The victory did not blind Alistair. Instead, he felt Byron had a scarily outstanding controlling power.
The new company he had established had not even reached one-tenth of the power of Lawrence Corporation.
He had only rented 20 floors of the office building, yet Lawrence Corporation had two office buildings for their headquarters, and they were active in a chain of industries.
“Brother, don’t forget your achievements because of others’ talent. Let’s take it slow. Our main branches are not in the south. This is just the beginning. I believe you can achieve your goal.” Beatrice still praised Alistair.
After hanging up the call, she closed her laptop as she had finished her work. A faint smile appeared on her face.
It was strange, but Andrea’s brother, Andrius, was involved in the car accident.
It made Beatrice wonder if she and Andrea were exchanging brothers. NôvelDrama.Org © content.
There was a knock on the door, and she answered, “Come in.”
Andrea walked in, and she was polite. She had been arranged to work in this company and was now the vice finance director. It meant she worked under Beatrice as her subordinate.
However, this was an incredible opportunity for Andrea.
Being in charge of an international trading company was better than dealing with the 14 medicinal material suppliers.
“Miss Murray, this is the import trading project list. I’ve summarized them into an Excel document.” Andrea lifted her head. She did not know why, but she was a little afraid of Beatrice.
Beatrice answered her with a smile, “Andrea, we don’t have to stand on ceremony in private. You can call me Beatrice. Oh, let’s have dinner together after work.”
Andrea nodded, yet she was worried Beatrice might still hold a grudge against her because of the slap.
All she did was nod and leave the office room.
Immediately, she returned to her office. Although it was not as luxurious as Beatrice’s office, it was spacious, and she even had a secretary.
Andrea, of course, knew why Beatrice was friendly to her. She did not know how Beatrice got to know her brother, but she could see that Beatrice had fallen in love with him.
“It's strange. If we both date each other’s brother, we'll be sisters-in-law."
Andrea's mind was a mess as she pondered.
Suddenly, her secretary walked into the office, looking anxious.
Looking at the secretary’s anxious expression, Andrea asked, “What’s wrong?”
“Something went wrong with our clients' final payment. The three new clients never paid the final payment, and they've already gone past the deadline. If we don’t get paid soon, we might receive complaints from the suppliers.”
Andrea was startled. The three new clients were the ones Alistair snatched.
It included Mr. Paulo, who had betrayed Byron.
Andrea was also anxious upon getting to know this. She went to Beatrice’s office again.
