Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 308 Mean Feat

In the infirmary, Zachary was out with the doctor to get the medication for Salome. But on the other hand, Salome hurriedly took out of Zachary’s phone from his pocket, found his most recent call history, and dialed back. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

“Zachary?”

Blanca was a bit confused picking up the call.

Zachary was supposed to meet her up at the school front gate, and Blanca was on her way there. Why was he calling again?

“It was me, Blanca. Remember me?” Salome sneered. The thought of Blanca seducing Zachary pissed her off, “Why are you after meeting with Zachary? It was my doing, and if you wanted to settle, come meet me at Jalot Hotel.”

“Sure…”

Blanca looked at the scorching sun overhead, it was very hot in July.

Of course, Blanca knew Salome was calling her out of ill intentions. But Blanca would not back down when they were bullied at the studio. Blanca had to agree to meet with her.

Salome hung up and deleted the last call from the call history.

She grabbed the medication and saw Zachary off before she headed home on her own.

Salome was from a huge family. She lived in a villa area in the west of the city. As soon as she got home, she saw her mother Madge Wally watching a TV series, sitting on the sofa laughing on her back.

On the table, there were some precious supplements and makeup products.

At first glance, those were some fancy brands.

“You are home already? I thought you were out dating your little boyfriend. Why do you look so bumped?”

Madge saw Salome was in a bad mood, so she asked her to sit down next to her and showed her the fancy supplements and makeup products on the table, feeling so proud, “Check them out – these are the good stuff!”

“She was here, again?”

Salome was not pleased.

She pushed the stuff on the table away – those were just typical supplements. Salome didn’t feel moved by the grand “mean feat”.

“She is not anyone. She’s your sister!”

“Sister? Ma, can you be realistic? She is the honorable Miss Roach now. She has zero relation to you! Every time she visits, she has to “gear up” to avoid people recognizing her. She is not my sister.”

Salome surely hated it.

Madge wasn’t happy with what Salome just said. But she adjusted quickly and held on to the fancy gifts, “Knock it off. She did it for us. Salome… my baby. What you just say in our house, stays in our house. Do you understand?”

“Fine.”

Salome was about to argue back. But after she saw the guy coming down the spiral staircase, she shut her mouth.

It was Scott, Salome’s twin brother, son of Madge and Ben Wally. Salome was a straight-A student at Royal University while Scott was bad at school. So Scott had been working for Ben since he was young. And now he became manager of the Jalot Hotel and was in charge of leading a team. He was doing quite a good job at work.

“This is random. What brought you home, Salome?”

Scott came downstairs all smiley. He saw the fancy gifts on the table, and he touched them with a funny look on his face, “Mom, let me grab a few of these and give them to my lady friends…”

“What’s wrong with you, taking your mother’s things to please those young girls?”

“Oh, come on. Any of them could be your future daughter-in-law!”
