Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 303 Did She Stay by Him the Whole Night?

Curtis had a stiff look on, and Blanca felt hearing Louis’s howling.

“Can you stop? Louise Grant, you are at the hospital and it is late at night now!”

It was the middle of the night now. Louise being so loud might disturb others in the VIP wards, even though there were only a few patients hospitalized at the moment.

“Why should I stop, Blanca Roach? You were the reason why my dearest brother had been sent here to the hospital. You just brought nothing but bad luck, bitch. I don’t even understand why my brother would end up with some whore like you. He must just have been confused.” Louise lashed it all out on Blanca.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

Matthew hadn’t been the best brother to Louise before, but right now Matthew hated Louise’s guts because of Blanca.

Thinking of the way Matthew looked at herself, Louise wished she could just shred Blanca into pieces alive.

What was with this Blanca Roach? Why would Matthew fall for her and marry her?

“Blanca, you better divorce my brother if you’d save yourself from getting into a bigger problem. You won’t be able to get away if my father and grandfather find out about how you got my brother into the hospital.” One of the girls that hung out with Peter often happened to be Louise’s best girlfriend. And at first, the girl was surprised by how much Matthew had drunk. But she told Louise about Matthew passing out immediately after it had happened.

“Divorce?” Blanca thought Louise was out of her mind saying so, so Blanca laughed.

Why would Louise think she’d have a say in this matter?

She was hovering around her brother Matthew everywhere, all the time. How could she not see that this was humiliating?

“Louise Grant, it’s not your call. Besides, I am Matthew’s wife, you are not. It’s not your place to decide for me. Why would it concern you anyway – was it because you are his younger sister, or was it because you have a secret and sick crush on your brother?”

Blanca didn’t sugarcoat her words, and what she said upset Louise. Louise acted like an angry hissing cat, “Blanca Roach, nonsense! What the heck are you talking about?”

“Sure, of course, it’s nonsense. My lawfully wedded husband needs his rest. Curtis, please show Miss Grant her way out.”

Blanca sneered and said toward Curtis.

She then turned around and walked back into the ward. Louise didn’t want to go at all. But Curtis was strong enough to drag her away and Louise failed her attempts.

Shortly afterward, Louise’s voice was fading farther and farther away outside.

Blanca figured Blanca had been taken away far enough.

It had been such an unsettling night.

Blanca was guarding Matthew by his bedside the whole night. She got so drowsy in the middle of the night and fell asleep. Her brows frowned even when she was asleep.

The sunlight outside the window shone into the room, casting a warm color on the whole room. Matthew opened his eyes and saw Blanca laying her head on her arms by the bedside, with red marks on her face, almost drooling.

Last night, she stayed the whole night by his side.

“Hey… Matthew, you are awake. I am getting the doctor!”

Blanca opened her eyes and saw Matthew was already awake. She quickly wiped the corner of her mouth, and she seemed surprised. But before she could leave, Matthew stopped her.

“Did you stay here the whole night?”

“I did. About yesterday…”

“Let’s move on from that already.” Matthew wasn’t happy about her trying to bring it up again. It seemed that although he and Blanca left last night, Matthew had never made a fool of himself. In his eyes, what happened last night was not worth remembering at all. The two of them were a little embarrassed together at the moment. Blanca didn’t know where to put his hand. Matthew was never a romantic man, and he stayed silent with a cold face.
