Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 255 Matthew Was Annoyed

She just took off like that, for the man called Peter, again.

For some reason, Matthew felt a bit annoyed. Matthew sat down unhappily. Shortly afterward, Curtis came in from the outside. He was hesitant and wasn’t sure if he should speak to break the silence – Matthew was sitting at the dining table feeling quite annoyed.

“What are you holding up?”

“About that…” Curtis touched himself on the head embarrassed. He was going to say that he had seen Blanca outside but he also feared he might say something he shouldn’t have. So he skipped that part, “I investigated what happened yesterday. It was a message sent to Miss Malinda from Dennis. And now Miss Malinda’s mother knew about this too.”

Everyone knew who Rosanne Butler was – she was the honorable Mrs. Roach and Mr. Butler’s only daughter. If anyone messed with Rosanne, there was no way they would get by in Oakshire City.

Curtis was getting nervous.

“What else did you find?”

“Well…” Curtis was confused as what happened last night was all well handled. Looking at Matthew’s look, he suddenly realized, “Right, there’s one more thing. The photos got well handled, too. They got checked out, and they weren’t photoshopped. Dennis might have taken photos of you while you were asleep. But I warned him, and the photos won’t get out.”

“Continue.” Matthew asked when he finished the breakfast slowly.

Now Curtis was lost.

What was Matthew referring to now?

Mrs. Brown kept giving signals to Curtis on the side. Curtis racked his brain and still couldn’t figure out what Matthew wanted to know.

Mrs. Brown forced two coughs and said, “Mr. Grant, Mrs. Grant loves a good lemonade. How about I buy some more in the supermarket today?”

“Sure.”NôvelDrama.Org owns this.

Seeing Mrs. Brown walk away, Curtis smacked on his forehead suddenly – he almost forgot about it!

Mrs. Grant and her favorite lemonade…

Mrs. Brown was giving Curtis evident hints!

“Mr. Grant, one last thing, also the most important one, was about the person with Mrs. Grant the other day. I investigated him as you had told me and found that his name was Zachary Wood, a student of the Royal University of Oakshire. He was graduating soon. He was from the same place as Mrs. Brown and went to the same middle school as her.” Curtis explained in detail.

Curtis peeked at Matthew when saying so. And he was right – Matthew was waiting to hear what he had found out about Blanca and Zachary.

Thanks to Mrs. Brown!

“Was that all?” Matthew suddenly responded in a cold voice. Curtis could feel the chills and nod. Matthew sneered, “Who wants to know about her? Let’s head back to the company.”

“…”

Matthew was such a stubborn man.

Curtis looked at Matthew walking in front of him and complained silently. No wonder Mrs. Grant was seen with another man. Matthew was unbelievable and terrible at romance.

However, Matthew was a little unhappy in his heart.

Zachary Wood, who came from the same place as Blanca, was also Blanca’s senior in middle school. Did it mean that this Zachary was Blanca’s middle school crush then? Would they get back together now that they ran into each other again? Matthew felt terrible about this.

In particular, did Blanca contact Zachary first and say those words to him tentatively that morning, or was it just a coincidence? Either way, Matthew wasn’t happy at all.
