Mr Grant, Please Be Gentle

Chapter 239 I Heard You Are Married Now

“Blanca, I didn’t know you would come.”

Zachary didn’t expect to see her here. But he had always been easygoing and nice so he naturally greeted her, “I heard you are married now, I haven’t congratulated you yet.”

“Thank you. You guys have fun. I’m gonna go to the lady’s room.”

Of course she was shocked. But Blanca kept smiling. She found an excuse and got out of the room. The door insulated the noises and music. Blanca went to the lady’s room in relief and when she finished washing her hands, she saw Zachary was standing outside the door.

She was stunned and said, “You wanna go to the toilet? Man’s room is that way.”

“No, I came for you.”

“Huh? Me…” Blanca was surprised. Her hands were still wet and she wiped them embarrassedly. After all, she used to like him so it was normal that she still blushed when she saw him.

“Can we take a walk?”

“What? Can we talk here?” Blanca was puzzled.

Zachary touched his head and gave a big boyish smile. It was warm, unlike Matthew.

Seeing him like that, Blanca agreed.

She followed behind Zachary and went out. But when she looked at his back, she thought about Matthew.

She wondered what he was doing right now…

“Blanca, how have you been these years?” They walked to the door and Zachary stopped. He seemed to drink some alcohol and Blanca said hastily, “Wait a minute!”

Then she hurriedly went to buy a bottle of water. She opened it and handed it to him, “Drink some water. You just drank earlier. It’s not good for your health. Some water can help you feel better.”

“Poof…”

Zachary couldn’t help laughing out loud. After all these years, Blanca was still so sweet and innocent.

Even though they had all changed, Blanca was still the same.

“Thank you.” He drank the water and followed Blanca around for a bit. On the way, he wanted to say something but Blanca changed the subject.

However, they didn’t know Matthew had been watching this whole time.

“Matthew, what happened?” Malinda was smiling elegantly. She looked around and didn’t see anything.

Matthew shook his head, “We still haven’t arrived the place you mentioned?”

“Not yet but pretty soon!” Malinda giggled and said.

She wanted to grab his arm but he silently avoided her. She came for Matthew at noon and showed him the pendant on her neck. Matthew took the bait just as she expected.

It seemed that he cared a lot about Blanca…

“Matthew, let’s have a meal together, shall we?” Malinda proposed.

She said she knew a jewelry guy who had fixed the crack on her pendant. And Matthew asked her to take him to that guy.

“No need. Let’s go,” Matthew said.

He just saw the pendant on Malinda’s neck. It was beautiful and delicate and exactly the same as Blanca’s besides the rope.

But Malinda’s pendant had a small crack on it.

The reason he came with Malinda was that he wanted to meet the jewelry guy.

After a while, Malinda said, “We’re here, Matthew, we have arrived.”

Malinda said that and went to knock on the door. Matthew took his phone away. He had just sent Curtis a message to ask him to follow Blanca.

Did that woman come here to party or meet her old lover?

“Matthew…”

Malinda urged him again and Matthew quietly put his phone away. He followed her in. It was an old house and Matthew noticed there were a bunch of decorations, indicating that the owner was a genius.NôvelDrama.Org content rights.

“Miss Roach, why are you here? Please come in!”

A middle-aged man came out of the house and greeted Malinda. Matthew took a look at him. He seemed to be in his forties and looked like an artist.

“And this one is…”

“It’s a friend of mine. Just call me Mr. Grant. He came here to ask you something,” she explained and eyed him up and down. The man made him a cup of tea and Malinda smiled.

She was finally relieved after she saw Matthew drank that cup of tea.
