Mine for a Moment

: Chapter 26

“Where are we going?” I ask, my eyes wide as we park right in front of a private jet. Archer hasn’t quite been himself in a couple of days now, so when he suddenly suggested going on an overnight trip while Ezra is away, I wasn’t sure what to make of it.NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

Archer grins at me and takes my hand, entwining our fingers as he pulls me along. It’s been a while since I’ve seen him smile so sincerely. I haven’t pried, but it’s clear something that happened last week upset him, and I suspect it has something to do with the two men I saw walking out his office, both of them clearly rich and powerful. I’m not sure if it’s a business problem or something else, and I’m not sure how to help without being intrusive.

“The Netherlands,” he says as he leads me onto the plane.

I gasp, pure giddiness rushing through me as I turn to face him, my hands wrapping over his arms. “Are we…are we going to—”

“To Keukenhof to see the one of the world’s largest flower gardens?” he asks, smirking. “That’s exactly what we’re doing, darling. We’re going to tick off the highest item on your to-do list. There’s only a two-week window to see the flower displays you want to see, so we have to go today.”

I stare at him in pure disbelief. A couple of weeks ago I saw him flicking through my endless to-do lists in bed, and he seemed to pay special attention to what I call my Ultimate To-Do List, my version of a bucket list. I didn’t think much of it then, and never in a million years did I think he’d remember the items on them.

“Wow,” I murmur, repeating the word over and over again as he kneels in front of my seat and buckles me in, pure amusement glittering in his eyes.

“God, I love making your dreams come true,” he says, cupping my cheek. “There’s nothing better in life than being the reason behind your smile. Nothing at all.”

I look into his eyes and wrap my hand around the back of his neck without thinking. He chuckles as I pull him closer, my lips finding his. I’m not sure what I was expecting when I put his name on my list, but this is so much more.

“Fuck,” he whispers against my mouth, his forehead dropping against mine. “I can’t wait till we’re airborne so I can carry you to the bedroom in the back. I’m going to make you ride my cock as we fly over the clouds, your moans filling the cabin.”

I smirk and take his bottom lip between my teeth teasingly before letting go. “I can’t wait.”

He groans as he pulls away, his cheeks a little flushed and his erection obvious in those sweats I love. I can’t help but giggle as he sits down opposite me and readjusts himself, frustration written all over his face. The way he wants me never gets old.

Archer looks into my eyes the moment the seat belt sign is turned off, and he smirks as he reaches inside his sweats. I stare at him, wide-eyed, as he takes out his cock and wraps his hand around it. “See what you do to me?” he asks, pumping his hand up and down. “I can’t even sit opposite you without wanting you.”

I glance around furtively, and he chuckles. “Don’t worry, darling. I instructed the flight crew not to walk into the cabin unless there’s an emergency. They won’t disturb us.”

“Is that so?” I murmur, unclasping my seat belt.

Archer raises a brow when I rise from my seat, only to drop to my knees in front of him. He seems shell-shocked, and I can’t help but laugh. “What did you think I’d do if you teased me like that?” I ask, replacing his hand with mine.

He moans when I squeeze hard as I move my hand down, holding the base of his cock while I lean in, my tongue darting out to caress the tip. “Fuck, Serenity. What are you doing?”

I grin up at him, confidence blending with desire. He does that to me—makes me feel empowered and sexy in a way I didn’t before. “Place your hands on the armrests,” I tell him.

His eyes flash defiantly, but he does as I asked. Archer has never denied me anything, and I don’t think he ever will. I’ve never felt as spoiled as I do with him, as well taken care of. There’s nothing I could ask for that he wouldn’t give me, whether that be his time or thousands of dollars of painting supplies that I’ll only use a handful of times.

“What is this? Payback for the way I pulled you into my office after that meeting last week?” he asks, squeezing his armrests as I take him into my mouth, my tongue swirling experimentally. My heart begins to race at the memory of him telling me to hold on to the edges of his desk as he laid me out on top of it and buried his face between my legs, instructing me not to come unless he told me to—all because he’d been jealous of the way Mark kept looking at me throughout the meeting. He’s pettier than I’d ever thought possible, and I love the way he gets all possessive when he’s jealous.

I suck hard and slowly take him in deeper, my entire body reacting to the way he feels against my tongue. Our eyes lock as I begin to move a little, my movements cautious and inexperienced. He smiles at me with eyes heavy with desire, and he sighs happily as he watches me suck him off.

“You’re such a good girl,” he whispers, caressing me with his gaze. “You’re perfect for me, aren’t you? Look at the way you take my cock, darling. It was made for you, did you know that?”

I hum, pleased with his praise, and he moans, his hips rocking as I increase my pace. I watch as he slowly loses his composure, his hand moving into my hair as he guides me. “Fucking gorgeous,” he murmurs. “How are you mine? How the fuck did I get this lucky?”

I moan, loving that look in his eyes. He does this sometimes. When he’s in the throes of passion, he says whatever is on his mind, and over time, his little whispers have become more endearing, more loving. Archer grunts and pulls my head away moments before he comes, catching it with his hands, his breathing erratic.

I let out a disappointed little sound, and he stares at me lazily. “I’d have swallowed,” I tell him, and that look in his eyes…I have a feeling it’s one I’ll always remember.
