Madness: A Dark Revenge Romance

Madness: Part 2 – Chapter 20

I straddle the chair backward, my right arm lying across the table next to me.

“Do I even want to know how this happened?” Gavin asks as he sews up my shoulder.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

“A woman,” I say, and he snorts.

I knew Charlotte would fight. I was in her house waiting for her return for over three hours. I had plenty of time to remove any weapon she could find to use on me, but where would the fun be in that? I wanted her to think she had an opportunity to save herself. And I was proud and turned on to see she used it.

I like a woman who fights. One who thinks she can stand up for herself. It just means I’ll have to work extra hard to keep her on her knees. It might require some chains and ropes, but that’s okay. Every woman deserves some accessories.

My cell vibrates, and I pull it out with my free hand to see that Ashtyn is calling me. I send her to voicemail. I look at Gavin when I feel he’s paused, and he doesn’t hide the fact that he’s checking my phone.

“I—”

“Save it.” I interrupt whatever he was about to say.

“She just misses you,” he adds.

“How’s she doing?” I bite my tongue the moment the words are out of my mouth. Why the fuck did I ask?

“Good.” He nods. “If you weren’t avoiding Carnage—”

“I’m not avoiding it,” I say through gritted teeth. “I have to take care of something.”

He nods, not believing a damn word I say. “Mm-hmm.”

“I need a favor,” I say to Gavin. My mind goes back to the brunette who is the reason I’m here in the first place.

“I figured that was coming.” He chuckles.

I pull up the app that allows me access to the cameras in her house. I have them placed everywhere. She’s so oblivious to everything that goes on around her. It makes things too easy for me.

Like right now, she’s lying in bed, passed out. She’s cuddling a pillow, the covers shoved to the footboard, and she’s naked. Fuck, I can’t wait to show her what that body was made for. To force sounds out of those pouty lips and watch her cry for me to stop, to keep going. For her to be confused and so overstimulated that she can’t tell me what day it is, let alone her own name.

She’s going to be my newest toy, and I’m going to play with her until she realizes her only purpose in life is to be nothing more than used.

“Name it.” Gavin gets my attention, and I lock my cell, dropping my hand.

“I need to use this room and a few minutes of your time.” I’m going to make sure she knows what she’s in for right off the bat.

CHARLOTTE

I turn off the water in the shower and step out. Grabbing the towel, I dry off my body and bend over, twisting my hair up into it. Once situated, I straighten and brush my teeth, having to clear the steam from the mirror. I like my showers so scalding hot that my skin turns red. Finishing up, I walk into my closet and pull on a black cotton thong and decide to go make a cup of coffee before I finish getting ready since I got zero sleep last night. I exit my room and walk down the hallway toward the kitchen. I pass the front double doors but come to a stop as something catches my eye through the stained glass. It’s blurry, but you can’t miss the shape of the black motorcycle in my driveway.

Fuck! I spin around and jump with a scream as my hands instinctively go to my chest. “Jesus Christ, Haidyn,” I hiss.

He stands in the foyer dressed in black jeans, a long-sleeved white shirt, and a backward baseball hat. His hands are shoved into his front pockets. “Hello, doll face.”

I take a step back, my body hitting the cold door, and I shiver. “I have three more days,” I grind out. He was just here two days ago dressed in disguise and ready to kill me if I didn’t hand my body over to him.

He ignores me, and his eyes drop to my heaving chest covered with my hands. They then trail down over my stomach to my hips, then the very thin material that hides between my legs before lowering to my bare feet.

He reaches up and runs a hand over his chin as his eyes eat me up. I’ve never seen a man look so heated in my life, and it has my body on fire as well.

“Haidyn?” I snap, glad my skin is red from the blistering shower I took so he can’t see my blush.

“You have nothing I haven’t seen, Charlotte,” he states, his eyes coming back to mine.

I huff, rolling mine in an excuse to avoid his intense stare. “What do you want?” I get to the point. If he were here to collect me, he would have dragged me out of the house already. I have a feeling that when he shows up to take me to Carnage, whips and chains will be involved. And no heads-up. No, he’ll want to know he’s got the jump on me. I won’t even see him coming. He’ll probably take me while I sleep.

“Finish getting ready,” he orders. “You have thirty minutes.” With that, he turns and walks farther into the house, disappearing into my living room.

“What?” I storm after him. My modesty no longer concerns me. “What do you mean thirty minutes?” Coming to the edge of the living room, I watch him turn and plop down onto the couch. Leaning back, he sinks into it. His legs fall open, and his arms span the length of the cushions.

My eyes fall to his parted legs, and I imagine kneeling while his hands tighten in my hair as I open my mouth, silently begging him to fuck it like the good girl he wants me to be. My pussy throbs like I’ve never felt before. I’ve never wanted to be fucked so badly in my life. Why him? Why does he make me feel things that I know any other man on this planet can give me?

“I have dinner plans tonight,” I say, clearing my throat and forcing my eyes to meet his stare.

“Dinner plans?” He smirks, and his blue eyes drop to my wrists.

Heat rushes up my spine since I told him things got rough when he questioned the bruises on them. Thinking I let a man use me. If he only knew…

“Cancel them. Tell your boy toy something came up. You have an appointment,” he states.

I don’t know why I thought he’d care if I had a boyfriend. The bastard doesn’t give a fuck about anyone but himself. “For what?” I snap.

The corner of his lips twitch, and he reaches up, adjusting his backward hat, and I can’t even begin to explain the things it does to my insides. I feel like I’m fucking melting into a puddle before him, and the smirk that graces his gorgeous face tells me he knows exactly what he’s doing. “Thirty minutes, doll face. Then we’re leaving. I don’t care if you get ready or finish getting dressed, I’ll carry you out wearing nothing but your underwear and a towel on your head.” With that, he pulls his cell from his pocket and starts typing away, dismissing me.

I growl, knowing I can’t win with him. I spin around and rush off to my bedroom. Slamming the door, I lock it as if that will keep him out and start getting ready for who the hell knows what.
