"Mr. Valentino," the doctor's grave tone made Alessandro's brow furrow as he waited for him to continue. "Mrs. Valentino is fine and has no severe injuries. Alessandro's worry deepened. "What exactly happened, doctor? Is my wife okay?"
The doctor nodded reassuringly. "She's stable, but we noticed some slight spotting and an elevation in her blood pressure, both of which can be concerning at this stage. "Thank goodness," Aria sighed. "I was terrified when they targeted you along with me. I don't know what I would have done if anything had happened to you." Her voice was tinged with regret.
