Chapter 60
Chapter 60
Aler POV
The next morning. I wake up early, my mind filled with a new drive and a hint of excitement.
Today marks the beginning of the next phase of our plan. I quickly get dressed, ready to start the day and prepare for the upcoming fights…
Heading downstairs, I find face already in the kitchen, sipping on a black coffee before he looks up at me and grins widely.
“Ready for some interse training I take it?” He asks, a glimmer of mischief in his eyes as I move to make myself a coffee next
“Absolutely! I want to make sure that I’m as strong as possible for when I bash in their skulls with my fist!” 1 chime happily, as though it were a special occasion nearing, as he chuckles at me.
Del joins us in the kitchen soon after, his hair still slightly disheveled from sleep. Before he gives us a knowing smile,
“I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for one of your tights before He informs us.
“You must be excited… considering you actually got out of bed before eight this morning! I think that’s a first for you!” Jace mocks him, as he rolls his eyes – before Del reaches over to grab his mug of coffee–finishing it off in–front of him.
“Prick!” Jace comments, as I laugh at the two, and pour out my own.
We move through to gather in the living room, going over my training plan for the day. Jace takes the lead, outlining a rigorous schedule that includes boxing drills, strength training, and cardio exercises.
We will
train here and use the garage which we had converted into a gym. That would also allow for me to stay close to Lottie today.
We quickly head down there next to begin our training session. The scent of sweat and determination soon filling the air as we go through each of the drills. Jace pushes me to my limits, ensuring that I’m perfecting my skills and building my endurance,
Del watches from the side, as he shouts abusive words at me every so often in an attempt to rile me up and make me work harder… he’s an ass!
As the first couple of hours pass, my body grows tired, but my adrenaline only intensifies. Every punch, every movement carries the weight of our mission, I can’t afford to hold back… certainly not for these fools.
Jace’s voice echoes in my ears, guiding me through each exercise as 1 focus.
We take short breaks to catch our breath and rehydrate, then dive right back into the training, Time seems to blend together, the boundary between fatigue and determination blurring.
With each punch, I visualize Tommy, Jason, and Holden. I imagine their faces contorted with anger and frustration as I stand tall in the ring. They won’t know whats hit them…
As the training session comes to an end, I feel a sense of accomplishment wash over me. I’m stronger, faster, and more focused than ever. I’m ready to face them head–on.
–
That was fucking brilliant! Jace comments, as I wipe the sweat from my head with a towel and smile.
“No for
“No for real! You could take this whole fighting shit professional at this point!” Del adds, causing me to laugh.
We head back upstairs, with it now being midday, before I raid the kitchen for food–starved after the intense workout.
Lottie and Anna are of course outside – enjoying themselves in the pool – as I offer her a wave of acknowledgement which she smiles and returns.
–
My phone then begins to ring loudly, as I move around the kitchen to grab it–seeing that it was Freddie…
“Yo Freddie? How was last night?” 1 question immediately, as his laughter fills the line.
*Excellent my boy! All three contracts have now been signed and if they back out at the last minute – they will be fined an incredible a
amount so I don’t

think they will. I even told them they could train with my guys leading up to the fight… give them a bit of confidence before you come in and crush it!” He chuckles, as I snigger at the thought.
It won’t just be their confidence that I’m crushing…….
“So what do you make of them then?” I ask, curiosity getting the better of me now,
“Hmm… they are typical young lads… boisterous when the three of them are together. Tommy I would say is most definitely the man in charge though. The other two lend to look to him for answers and guidance a lot… unlike yourself, Del and Jace who can all be hot headed at times… It was as though the other two wouldn’t speak up without the Tommy one going first–fucking weird if you ask me!” Freddie informs me, as I nod to myself- taking note.
Tommy was the problem it seems… therefore he will be my final fight… the main event.
“I want to fight Tommy last, I tell him, as he chuckles..
“Yes I figured you would want that, I can see you both clashing that’s for sure! Freddie comments, as 1 listen intently.
“What about Lottle? Did they mention her at all?” I question, turning back to watch her as she floats around in the pool- laughing at something Anna had said.
“He wanted proof that I knew where she is… I told him I knew where she was hiding and that I knew the people that had her but that’s all he knows. He then demanded that she is present at the event before they fight… his words were we want to see the prize before we get in the ring… cocky little shit!” Freddie explains, as my temper bubbles again.
He’s an ignorant little bastard! If he seriously thinks he’s walking into this fight a champ… with no experience and no training… nothing other than a sick drive to win and torture Lottie… he’s wrong.
He’s in for a rude awakening! © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.
“I want to see the fucking fear fill up in his eyes when he realizes what he’s up against–when I ruin his two friends in–front of him!” I reply with determination.
Freddie Jets out a hearty laugh on the other end of the line. I couldn’t agree more, Alex. This fight is going to be one for the books. Just keep up the training, stay focused, and don’t let anything distract you. Freddie finishes,
I feel a surge of gratitude for Freddie’s unwavering support despite knowing he was also in it for his own personal gain but nonetheless he had done us a favour.
“Thanks, Frecklic. We’re going to make them regret ever walking into this town.
With that, the call ended, as I take a moment to compose myself I won’t let Tommy or his minions hurt Lottie ever again. This fight is about more than just victory; it’s about redemption and justice.
As I join Lottle and Anna back by the pool, I can’t help but steal a glance at Lottie, her radiant smile lighting up the entire scene. I remind myself of the promise I made to her, the promise to protect her and bring an end to this nightmare.
I sit by her, feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin and the comfort of her presence
“They agreed to the light. I announce, as Anna and Lottie both still in their actions to listen to me.
“They did? When? Lottie questions, as I sit with my legs in the pool.
“Last night… we had our men lure them into Freddie’s bar who organises my Eights, and he managed to convince them… they’ve signed the contracts and everything.” I explain, as they both float around–giving me their attention as they seem shocked by the news.
“So when is it?” Anna asks next, as Jace and Del come outside now too – a tray of cold lemonade in hand.
“It’s next Friday, so just over a week away and this will all soon be over.” I confirm, as Lottie and Anna come to the edge of the pool to take a drink from The guys
I attempt to unwind, using this time that I have in order to rest my tired muscles.

One more week…
That’s all we have to wait…
We just need to keep Lottie hidden and safe until then….
