Chapter 1093: Having a Blast, Aren't You?

Nelson's reason for setting up this gathering was quite clear to Brandon. It was all because of those

things he had said before, which he realized were inappropriate. So, Nelson used the excuse of having

dinner with his old friends to invite Brandon over, sort of like making amends.

Growing up together, they knew each other well. Although Brandon wasn't pleased with the situation,

he didn't intend to hold it against Nelson.

Since the invitation was extended, Brandon agreed. It was a good opportunity to introduce Sandy

formally. While Sandy wasn't often part of their social circle, who knew what the future held? Brandon

wanted to ensure that Sandy felt comfortable and accepted within his group.

By the time they arrived, most of the people were already there.

Nelson spotted Brandon and Sandy first and stood up from his seat. "Brandon, over here!"

Brandon led Sandy over.

The group greeted each other with enthusiasm.

"Brandon, how about an introduction?"

"Sandy, my wife, your sister-in-law."

Among this crowd, Brandon was among the older guys. While there were others of the same age, he

was a few months older. The closest in age was just two days younger than him.

So, Brandon became the "old guy."

They had all grown up together and done everything together, from fights and mischief to flirting with

girls. However, none of them had ever crossed the line.

Their families were well-off, and they were also respectable in the Viteto circle. They didn't involve

themselves in petty theft or mischief.

Sandy was naturally chatty and quickly engaged in conversations with the group.

"Who would've thought that one day I'd be meeting a real celebrity!" a man sitting beside Nelson

exclaimed excitedly. "You'll have to sign something for me later. My grandma and mom keep talking

about how Yang has found a beauty, and they're telling me to marry a celebrity too. Sister-in-law, are

you available? Can you introduce someone to me?"

Nelson playfully teased, "Oh, you want a celebrity wife too? Aren't your casual flings enough?"

"Nelson, shut up, I'm still with Little Red and Little Green!"

"Did I say something wrong?"

"You definitely did! Ever since Brandon made his relationship public, this guy acts like a monk. Aside

from his secretary, the rest are all similar to him."

Nelson smirked. "Did I hit the nail on the head?"

"You sure did. Now shut up, Nelson, or you'll regret it."

The banter continued.

Brandon, in a good mood, had a few drinks but remained sensible, keeping Sandy in mind.

Luckily, Sandy was pregnant, otherwise, everyone would've been quite drunk by the end of the night.

After dinner, they spent some time at the clubhouse and then went to a karaoke bar in the evening.

While everyone in the room was a karaoke enthusiast, they graciously allowed Sandy to sing a couple

of songs.

Sandy was good at many things, but singing wasn't her strong suit... to put it mildly.

"No way! If I start singing, you'll all run away!" Sandy exclaimed.

She handed the microphone to Nelson. "Let Nelson sing!"

"No, no, we want to hear you, sister-in-law!"

Sandy looked at Brandon as if for help.

Brandon leaned in and whispered a few words in her ear.

Sandy blushed and glared at Brandon.

But eventually, under the pressure of the crowd's insistence, she reluctantly agreed. "Deal!"

Brandon was satisfied and took the microphone from Sandy, pulling her closer. "What are you doing?

Are you acting like I'm dead? Feeling bold, huh? Picking on me?"

"Just because I'm singing, you call it picking on you? Brandon, you're exaggerating!"

"I'm telling you, you guys are picking on me. My wife is singing for me, and you guys aren't worthy of

listening!"

Brandon laughed and raised the microphone. "Want to hear a song? Well, here it is!"

Brandon had a reputation for being a great singer among the group. His first note captivated everyone

in the room. When he finished, the room exploded with cheers and applause.

Even Sandy was entranced. After his first song, the cheers could almost have blown the roof off.

Encouraged by the crowd, Sandy chimed in, "Encore!"

"Exactly, give us another!"

Brandon looked at Sandy, who was joining in on the chant, and couldn't help but laugh. "Which side are

you on?"

Sandy replied, "Your side. But now you owe me a song's worth of time on your side! I'll switch after you

finish singing!" All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

Brandon found Sandy's remark endearing, so he sang another song.

"Wow! Brandon, you're amazing!"

"Brandon!? Are you guys having fun?"

Hearing Sandy's exclamation, someone looked at Brandon in shock.

"Damn! Brandon, you've got skills!"

"What are you thinking? You're calling him Brandon?"

"What's the matter with you? Do you need to call me 'Mr. Brandon' because of the age difference?"

The group was left speechless.

"Alright, alright, we don't need to know the tricks of a couple in love!" Nelson interrupted before

Brandon could say more.

Brandon glanced at Nelson but didn't comment.

Others were also wearing expressions of having had enough of watching this display of affection.

"We're not joining in on that, let's just have our fun!"

Sandy was enjoying the sweet serenade and blushing from the kisses Brandon had showered her with.

Her breathing was erratic and offbeat.

Brandon was prudent, however. He let her go after a while. If they were to do anything more intimate, it

wouldn't be appropriate here.

The group eventually settled down after the teasing, and it was close to dawn.

"Call a designated driver?" Nelson glanced at the time and asked Brandon.

Brandon nodded. "Arrange one for them too. If that's not possible, get rooms across the street for them.

They can stay here tonight and head back tomorrow."

Nelson observed the tipsy crowd. "Sure thing, let them stay over. They can't drive in this state."

After helping a few people into rooms, Nelson and Brandon left.

"What about you? How are you getting back?"

"I've got someone picking me up." Nelson looked at the time and continued, "You guys should head

back."

"Be safe."

Nelson chuckled. "Don't worry."

Nelson waved at Sandy. "Goodbye, sister-in-law!"

Sandy waved back. "Goodbye!"

While Brandon and Sandy were waiting for their designated driver, a black Bentley pulled up near

Nelson.

Nelson got in, but Sandy watched as he clung to a handsome man in the driver's seat like an octopus.
