His Cure

Chapter 18 You smoke?

..

Does he have to be so cruel?

She gave a pouty sigh and left.

*Whatever.*she rolled her eyes inwardly.

Since he is not going to take anything dirty, then he should also throw this mattress away.

She smirk and turned back to the direction of his room.

She opened the door and saw him leaning on the wall, with a cup of coffee in his hand.

His head was lowered to the ground.

“Should I throw this out, too?”she raised the mattress up.

He looked up at her and his brows furrowed up in confusion.

“I mean, you definitely sounded like you won’t have anything to do with dirty stuff, so why not just dump this too, instead of making me stress myself in washing it. Besides, it’s not that dirty so..”she paused and shrugged.

“You should be able to make do with it.”she smiled.

He turned to the window and pulled the curtains apart.

He drank from his coffee and said,”if you’re done talking, you can leave.”

Beatrice tilts her head to the side with a jeer.

“You are not going to say anything?”

“Hm.”he hummed.

“It turns out that the ‘silent is the best answer for a fool’ statement isn’t a waste.”he chortles.

Beatrice took a hard and angry gulp down and balled her fists in a punch.

If she could, she would land several punches on his face right now.

What does he have to be so rude?

“Or,”he started as she made to leave.

“Maybe you’re a bit right. Throw it away. I would not want to have anything to do with that bed cloth you’ve vomited on.”he glanced at her quickly.

“Now, who is the fool.”she snickered and quickly ran out before he could give a response.

##Henry’s Penthouse

**

The sounds of cutleries hitting the plate was quite audible.

Outside the room, Tisha sashayed towards the door that has the shape of a lion inscribed on it.

“Is he in?”she questioned one of the men that took guard in front of the room.

“Yes, ma’am. Welcome.”

They all bowed.

She shook her head with a scoff.

“This man is really getting old, huh?”she clicked her tongue.

The door was sprawled open and she steps in.

“You’re eating again?. I thought you would be in your study room.”she attacked as she walked towards the table.

“That’s the best I can do.”Henry moots.

She chuckled.

“I’ve got something for you, brother.”she sat down and brought out some files from her bag.

“Does it involves money?”Henry sighed as he grabbed the butter and lavished it on the three slices of bread in his hand.

“It’s so crazy how you still love money despite being the top 2 most richest man.”

“Money, it all starts and ends with that. But, let me tell you, if this is about the property stuff, then I’m out.”he took a hefty bite out of the bread.

“Hear me out first.”she slides the files to his front.

“I’ve got something exciting on my sleeve. I’m going to start an agency company and recruit upcoming celebrities while trying to keep in touch with the current ones. Sounds good, doesn’t it?. This is going to be so.. big that…”

“What exactly are you getting at?”he snorts.

She grinned and pointed at him.

“You’re a real business man, bro. You have never for once disappointed me.”she grabbed an apple from the bowl on the table and relaxed back.

She gnawed her teeth into the apple and smirks.

“Hearing about this wonderful plan, don’t you wanna hand over your..”

He slammed his cup of tea on the table and gave her a dirty frown.

“I knew that was what you’re getting at. Why do you need my properties tho?, you’ve had enough of both wealth and fame. What else do you seek for?”

“Oh, except one.”she uttered.

“I want the number one position, only then would I..”

“Tisha!!”

“I understand you’re still not willing to give me your properties, but you cannot stop my ambition.”

“Tisha, why are you being so desperate?. You grew up with a silver spoon, why are you so..”

“Oh.. all I just need right now is the respect. No more words, brother.”she drops the half – eaten apple on the table.

“If you keep coming here, i–”

“Yeah, yeah, I know. I won’t come here ever again.”

“If you need anything, just call my manager..”

“There would be no need for that.”she interrupted him then stood up.

“I will take my leave now. Do enjoy your tea.”she uttered coldly, nabbed her bag from the table and went out of the room.

~Afternoon.

..

After reading him story for three hours, she was allowed to take an hour break which is so not that as she would have to write the next chapter within that duration too.

She grabbed a packet of cigarette from her bag and went out of the house.

She went to sit down on the huge rock before picking out a cigarette and lighted it up.

She shoved the cigar into her mouth and bent down to pack some pebbles.

She threw some in the sea ahead and tuck out the cigar from her mouth.

She releases the smoke and sighed.

She basked in the warmth atmosphere.

The day was sunny but being close to the sea did send a kind of cold sensation into her body too.

She flickered the ashes on the ground and threw another pebble inside the water.

*Tuum!*

As she made to take another drag of the cigarette, a voice stopped her.

“You smoke?”the voice was hoarse and rough.

She stared back and saw him standing between the door, with a calm look.

“Just when I feel an avalanche of burden, I often do this to release my stress. You want one?”she offered.

“No.”and he shuts the door.

She chuckled before returning her gaze back to the sea.

“What a scared baby boy.”she laughed as she thrusted the stick inside her mouth.

She picked up her phone and did a little typing. She is probably going to tell him some parts of the story off head as she is too lazy to write much.

After an hour had passed, she stood up and went up to his room. From NôvelDrama.Org.

She sat on the chair, few miles away from him.

It looks like he was not playing rapt attention as he look lost and not corrective when she made a mistake in the FL’s name.

She stopped reading and snapped her fingers.

“A penny for your thoughts?”

He blinked and looked up at her.

“About that…”he gestured smoking a cigarette.

“Is your offer still up?”
