Chapter 102~ Ready for him
"What? Ryan told you to be ready to get eaten?" Bianca exclaimed and Lora covered her mouth with her palm, looking around to make sure no one had heard her. "Sshh, you don't have to announce it to the whole world," Lora replied, her cheeks flushing pink.
It was lunchtime and Lora met her best friend, Bianca Jones, for lunch and told her about Ryan's words.
Bianca whistled and replied, "You're so lucky, my friend."
"Why? Because I'm going on a date?" Lora asked, her eyebrows creasing.
"No, silly," Bianca rolled her eyes. "Do you know what he means by, be ready to get eaten?"
When Lora shook her head, Bianca added, "It means he's going to eat you down there."
Lora gasped, her eyes widening. An image flashed through her mind and her face flushed again. Looking at her friend, she asked, "What? Why would he do that?"
"It's part of lovemaking, my friend," Bianca said. She leaned over and whispered, "We need to visit a spa before lunch hour ends to... you know... make sure it's smooth and ready for him."
"Bee," Lora blushed, looking around to make sure no one had heard her friend again. "Is that necessary?"
"Of course! Give him a little surprise!" Bianca replied eagerly. "Come, I know a place."
Although Lora was mortified, she let Bianca drag her away from the restaurant. They walked into a beauty spa and when they walked to the reception, Bianca took out her card and said, "This is my best friend and she just made up with her husband. She wants to make him happy tonight, so... do your best."
"Bee!" Lora protested but Bianca just wriggled her eyebrows at her.
When they were done at the spa, Bianca winked at Lora and said, "Now, once Ryan tastes you like that, he will be addicted and want to do it every day."
"Every day?" Lora's eyes widened into saucers.
"Oh, don't make that face. You will become addicted too... I've heard once you try it, you can never stop craving it," Bianca responded.
Lora frowned. "Have you experienced it before?"Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Bianca laughed and replied, "No, I haven't. But I read steamy books."
"So you've never tried it but you think I will like it?" Lora asked, frowning.
"Of course, you will! After tonight, I'm sure you will testify! They say it's another kind of heaven!" Bianca exclaimed and Lora giggled.
A little while later, Lora's phone buzzed with a message from Ryan that read,
[I'm outside, baby.]
She blushed, her heart pounding erratically in her chest, accompanied by a flutter of butterflies in her stomach. Bianca kept teasing her about tonight and now, she couldn't stop thinking about the date. Would Ryan really eat her out?
Lora's core clenched at the thought.
When she stepped out of her office, she gasped when she saw a tall man in a sharp suit waiting just outside her door.
The man held a single red rose which he extended toward Lora with a polite smile on his face.
"Who are you-"
"This is for being an exceptional woman, Mrs Kingsley," the man said, handing Lora the rose.
Lora blinked, her heart racing at the man's words. Was this Ryan's surprise for her?
The man left and disappeared down the hallway. Lora brought the rose to her nose and took a whiff.
It smelled so good.
She continued down the hallway, approaching the elevator. However, as she rounded the corner, another man in a suit was standing by the elevator doors, holding another rose. When he saw Lora, he smiled and gave it to her.
"This is for being a wonderful mother, Mrs Kingsley," he said as Lora accepted the rose, a smile playing on her lips.
The man bowed and stepped away for Lora to enter the elevator.
'Am I going to see Ryan next?' She mused, taking big whiffs of the roses. This was the sweetest thing that anyone had ever done for her... or maybe it was sweet because it came from the man she loved?
When the elevator doors opened to the ground floor, Lora found a queue of men holding roses and her heart skipped a beat. With each step she took a man gave her a rose and stepped away.
This continued until she walked out of the office building, her hands now full of roses.
Lora's breath caught in her throat when she saw the man waiting for her outside. Ryan. Her man.
He stood there, holding the last rose, looking breathtaking in a tailormade all-black suit. A soft smile graced his face as he watched Lora approach.
At the same time, Lora's heart fluttered. A few seconds later, she was standing right in front of him, looking into his warm, captivating eyes.
He extended the rose toward Lora and remarked, "This is for the most beautiful woman in the world. My Queen and the mother of my children."
Lora accepted the rose, her cheeks flushing with happiness. She was unable to hold back her smile as she asked, "Did you plan to surprise me? I'm so touched."
Ryan smirked and replied, "Yes...!
did. I had to outdo a certain someone who used to bring you flowers every day. I'm the only one who can bring you flowers and I'll make sure I do it better."
Lora chuckled, the fragrance of the roses wafting into her nostrils. She looked into Ryan's eyes and replied, "These are lovely... thank you."
Ryan wrapped his arm around Lora's waist and pulled her close before saying, "Anything for my baby."
Leaning over, he brushed a soft kiss against Lora's forehead and added, "I love to see that beautiful smile on your face."
Lora blushed, her heart swelling with love.
"So, what have you planned for us tonight?" Lora asked.
"It's a surprise," Ryan replied. "Tonight, I want to do something that you had wanted to do with me in the past."
