Goodbye, My Wretched Love! By Dolly Molly

Chapter 14

Chapter 14

Sofia’s current state made Ellie hysterical. She looked at her swollen, red lips, her ripped dress, and the bite mark on her collarbone that had broken the skin, teeth marks apparent.

Ellie drew a sharp breath, this woman was a nightmare that she could never forget. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

Ellie and Finley had known each other for a long time, and although Finley had cared for her as if she were his own sister, she had never treated him as her brother.

She loved him, but he had no feelings for her.

However, Ellie was well aware that Finley did not have any girlfriends. She knew that he had orchestrated a trap for the Campbell family, and Sofia had been the entry point for his plan.

Ellie reassured herself countless times that Finley was just using her as a tool for revenge and that she had nothing to be jealous of.

However, Ellie couldn’t help but notice the growing

complexity in Finley’s eyes whenever he looked at Sofia. She saw the genuine tenderness he occasionally showed to her and their intertwined hands on every picture posted.

Ellie had decided that she couldn’t take it any longer. Finley was hers, and Sofia had to die.

To Ellie’s surprise, she discovered the extent of the woman’s

dreadful life, the mistreatment she endured during her time in prison, and yet she managed to survive and found her way back to Finley’s bed.

At that moment, Ellie truly began to panic.

She had thought Sofia and Finley were done with each other, and there was no possibility of getting back together, so why did Finley bring her here?

Why?

Feeling sickened by the sight of the woman and finding Ellie’s questioning ridiculous, Sofia tried to evade the situation by stepping around Ellie and leaving. She felt an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. Even breathing was hard.

Ellie felt Sofia brush her shoulder, and she hurried after the woman to block her path.

“Sofia! You’re shameless!”

“Look at yourself! I mean, don’t you understand what you are. now?!”

“You actually tried to hook up with Finley?”

“You Campbells deserve to be dead and gone! Don’t you know who forced your father to jump off a building? Why don’t you do it too? Are you that petty?”

“Yeah, I am.” Sofia hadn’t wanted to dwell on it, but now two people had mentioned her father.

Growing up, Sofia had always been cherished and adored by her father, who treated her like his most valuable treasure.

Insulting him was the bottom line.

Sofia’s lips curled up in mockery as she looked steadily at Ellie’s angry and distorted features.

‘It’s actually pretty interesting,” She began. “Three years ago, Finley slept with me so he could get his revenge. But now, three years later, I’m a dirty, petty, and disfigured woman, but he still wants to sleep with me. How about that?”

“You-” Ellie’s face turned white with rage.

Sofia looked at her with amusement. “Whether it was in the past or present, you still couldn’t get him to have sex with you. How pitiful.”

“Why are you such a bitch?!” Ellie raised her hand to slap Sofia, but Sofia reached out and blocked it.

Sofia’s hands were rough from her hard work, but they had a strong grip. She tightly held onto Ellie’s wrist, refusing to let go.

Ellie met Sofia’s cold and sullen eyes and felt a little afraid.

She felt something was wrong. Sofia got out of prison and went to work at Charming Bar. She first seduced Brian, and now Finley…

“Do you want to get back at us? I’m going to tell Finley! You came to Charming Bar with a purpose in mind, didn’t you?”

“You approached Finley, you seduced his best friend, and…”

Sofia looked at her with an emotionless expression. “Ellie, you should go write a novel, maybe you’ll get famous.”

As the door to the nearby room swung open, Finley emerged, taken aback by the sound of two women arguing in the hallway. It was unusual for him to bring a woman here, as this place was usually quiet and serene.

The moment Ellie saw Finley come out, her eyes were rimmed with tears and she cried out, breaking away from Sofia’s hand.

“Finley, help me!”

She looked at Sofia in horror and backed up against the wall.

“I’ve already forgiven you for what happened three years. ago! My left hand hasn’t even fully healed! What more do you want?” Ellie’s face contorted with fear, and she pretended to lose her balance to fall into Finley’s arms.

Ellie huddled into his chest, shaking, and that look would have fooled even Sofia if she hadn’t seen how arrogant she was beforehand.

The woman should be awarded an Oscar for her acting skills.

Finley’s expression darkened as he shielded Ellie from Sofia.

Sofia laughed bitterly, she didn’t have to explain herself.

Instead, she turned around, and Finley’s deep, cold voice came from behind her. “Sofia, this is your one and only warning. If I see you do anything to her next time, I will have you killed.”

Sofia stopped in her tracks but didn’t turn around, and she continued towards the elevator room.

She didn’t even try to argue or explain because there was no need. No matter what was said, Finley would always think she was the one who mutilated his precious Ellie.

Finley looked at her retreating silhouette and his heart felt a series of complex emotions.

Ellie hid behind him, but her face was pale. Why did Finley just let her go?

He gave her a warning, but Ellie thought she knew him well.

If Finley intended to act against someone, he never gave them any forewarning. He was known for his straightforward and no–nonsense approach.

The more she talked, the faster the matter was sealed.

But he had seen Sofia clutching Ellie by the wrist with his own eyes.

“Finley! I-” Ellie was about to speak when the elevator door opened, revealing Justin and a group of people with panicked. expressions. They passed by Sofia, but she paid them no attention and walked into the now–empty elevator,

Justin approached Finley with his head down, afraid to speak. Ellie had rushed past him to get to the elevator and Justin hadn’t stopped her.

Recently, news of Ellie and Mr. Stewart’s upcoming wedding had spread, and they were soon to be engaged. As the future lady of the Stewart family, Ellie had the power to scrutinize her to–be husband’s employees. Justin clearly didn’t want to

stop her from doing anything she wanted.

“Justin, your ability to watch the door is getting worse and worse. I might just fire you,” Finley said coldly. Justin’s face. fell, and he nodded.

Ellie’s face fell as well. She was hurt that Finley had wanted to keep her out.

But why can that bitch Sofia come in while I can’t?

Ellie concealed her dissatisfaction and forced a sweet smile, saying “Finley, it’s my fault. My dad wants to see you, but you’re always so busy. After all, we’re about to get engaged, so why not we have dinner with him?”

Finley was indebted to the Hills or their past support, and he was very patient with Ellie. But today, he felt inexplicably irritable. Even Ellie’s presence had annoyed him.

Finley felt a pounding headache, and his heart started to hurt. He rubbed his brow. “When is Uncle Hill coming to New York?”

“Tomorrow morning. Can you come to my house for dinner?” Ellie asked with a smile as she affectionately squeezed Finley’s arm. “I’d like to hold the engagement party on that island you recently invested in. And it’s just in time to also promote Sky Inc.’s artificial island project!”

Finley looked at her wearily. “Yeah, I got it. Justin, send Miss Grey back to her house.”

Justin came up and offered his arm to Ellie, who took it with a fake smile. She looked back at Finley and called, “I’ll see

you at dinner tomorrow!”

She turned and followed Justin into the elevator room, and the moment she walked in, her expression hardened.

Now that you’re back, I won’t give you any more chances, Sofia!
