Chapter 863
Marion's gaze was so tender that no one could associate him with the ruthless man he was known as.
Debra blushed, whispering, "Haven't I already told you the answer?"
Marion went down on one knee and snapped his fingers. A little Golden Retriever wagged its tail, trotting over to Marion's side. Debra was surprised to find it in a red bow tie. The Golden Retriever sat obediently beside Marion, its watery eyes fixed on Debra. Wagging its tail and sticking out its tongue, it looked at Debra expectantly.
Marion took the flowers and the ring from its back. This diamond ring was specially crafted to shine together with Debra.
"A ring?"
"A proposal ring."
Marion had watched many proposal videos and found that they all had three elements: flowers, a diamond ring, and the man kneeling on one knee.
Marion said seriously, "Whether it's a proposal, engagement, or wedding, it's a once-in-a-lifetime event, so we can't skip any of the rituals. I won't let you feel shortchanged." Debra burst into laughter, and he solemnly asked, "Debra, will you marry me?"
"Yes." Debra extended her hand without hesitation.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
Marion's face lit up with a smile. Just as he was about to put the ring on her finger, she suddenly said, "But who said that a proposal,
engagement, and wedding can only happen once in a lifetime? What if there's a second marriage?
Marion paused, slipping the ring onto her finger, and stood up. "Now that you're wearing my ring, you can't escape me. A second marriage? Forget it."
Debra sensed his jealousy and possessiveness. She teased him, "Well, marrying you now is technically my second marriage."
Marion simply scooped her up in his
arms. "I don't care about your past, but from the day you agreed to be with me, Pam your beginning. I vow that Debra will only have Marion by her side. I won't let any man enter your heart."
Debra blushed, and the Golden Retriever tilted its head, seemingly curious about what was happening.
She quickly changed the subject. "Well, what's the deal with this Golden Retriever?"
Marion put her down and patted the dog's nose. When we were building the site here, we found it by accident. It was very small, probably just born. This little guy is quite intelligent, so we decided to keep it here."
"Intelligent, huh?" Debra crouched down, ready to pet the dog.
It nuzzled up to her hand, letting her pet its head. She froze as the dog gave her a familiar feeling.
Marion said, "The dog likes you. Fate draws you to each other."
The Golden Retriever happily wagged its tail, licked Debra's palm, and burrowed into her arms.
