Chapter 42 They Had Formal Identities
David had to stop talking and turned to look at Ben and Anna. “You two are going to stay in the hospital tonight. Is there anything I can bring to you?”
Anna said to him in a childish voice, “I want my doll.”
Ben said cooly, “I want my iPad.”
David held the two children in his arms and nodded. “I’ll get them for you now.”
Mia reminded the two of them to stay in bed obediently and followed David out of the door. “I just bumped into Joe and I am
worried…”
David understood and suddenly took out three Citizenship Certificates from his pocket. “I knew such a day would come, so I prepared those.”
Mia took them out to have a look and was stunned.
In the Citizenship Certificates, the age of the two children had been changed to one year younger. Her name had also changed from Mia White to Charlotte Clinton.
“Since Ben and Anna are back, you can’t hide them forever. It’s
better to make preparations in advance.” David looked at Mia seriously. She saw his sincerity for the children in his eyes, which moved her a lot.
After David left, Mia returned to the ward and seriously apologized to Ben and Anna, “I have been too busy to take care of you these days and also asked you to play at someone else’s house. I’m sorry.”
Anna tilted her head and asked, “Mom, don’t you do it on purpose?”
“Of course not!” Mia denied it repeatedly. “You are the babies that I begged for a long time to get into my arms. How could I not want you?!” This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.
Anna pretended to be serious and said, “Since you work hard to fill Ben and me with food and clothing, why should we blame you? Your adults just like to guess other people’s mind!”
She nudged Ben, who was next to her. “Am I right?”
Ben glanced at her helplessly. “It’s that adults like to guess other people’s minds.”
“It’s not your fault.” He stole a glance at Mia and quickly added.
Looking at the two considerate children, Mia was moved and amused. She asked softly, “Do you want to go to kindergarten?”
When she was in Albania, Ben and Anna learned knowledge from the family teachers. Although it was safe, they rarely had
contact with other children. Now that they had returned back and had official identities, maybe it was time for them to go to kindergarten.
“What’s kindergarten?” Anna was confused. “Is there a lion and a tiger in it?”
Mia didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. She patiently explained the meaning of kindergarten to the two children and said, “You can meet a lot of other children in kindergarten. You can play with them.”
“Then I’ll go!” Anna jumped up happily, completely forgetting that there were rashes on her body.
Ben also agreed. Although the knowledge in kindergarten was too childish, he still had to take care of Anna. After all, he was the only man in the family.
Seeing that both of them had no intention of resisting, Mia sent a message to Frank and asked him to collect some information about kindergarten.
After receiving the news, Frank was confused. Was their Horizon Group going to develop the kindergarten business?
