Falling For The Alpha King

Chapter 35

Chapter 35

Dorothy was silent and lowered her head as she stared at the floor. Lisa was surprised by the

grandmother's unusual behavior. Then, she touched the grandmother's hand and asked, "Grandma,

are you ok?"

Then, Dorothy looked at her granddaughter's face and held her hands, and replied, "I think it's time you

should know something."

"About what, Grandma?" Lisa asked curiously.

“The howling sound you heard yesterday was the werewolf and their pack's howl. You must be asking

where do they usually live? They live to mingle with humans and all are similar to humans in general.

The only difference is that the werewolves live and join in packs. Including me and your grandfather

and we are werewolves too and we are part of the Blood Moon Pack. Other than that I can't explain

further. However, Bruce is an ordinary human who we adopted from the orphanage when I was

sentenced by the doctor to be unable to have children. And you are an ordinary human being, it's just

that you have a destiny that you cannot deny. You can be a mate for the Alphas and that is your

specialty. Because actually, one Alpha can only be mated with one Luna. You must be surprised to

hear all this because all this time you've only heard stories about werewolves from movies or reading

books, but actually we are real and we live together with you. I'm sorry, Sweet. But this is the truth,"

said Dorothy as she looked at Lisa's face which showed signs of disbelief at everything she heard.

“Grandma, is all this true?” Lisa asked with wide eyes and a look of disbelief on her face. Her voice was

a little low and she sat still, staring intently at Dorothy.

"It's all true, Sweet. Sorry, you have to hear all this. But this is the truth and your father already knows

about this," answered Dorothy.

“Then, are you guys dangerous? I mean did you guys hurt humans?” she asked.

“We are not dangerous, maybe some are dangerous. However, most of us even protect the humans.”

“I thought the werewolf didn't exist and wasn't real. So, what I saw last night was real and the figure

was huge and scary."

“Everything you see is real and every werewolf must be able to control the wolf within themselves

because there are certain times when the wolf requires us, body owners, to do what they want. But,

don't worry, most of us are harmless and many of us are destined to mate with humans."

"Who destined you?" Lisa asked.

“The Moon Goddess is the mother of werewolves, and she determines our destiny. Oh yes, breakfast is

ready, let's eat. Lisa, even though Bruce is not my biological child, my late husband and I love him

more than anything, and so do you and Sean. I love you guys so much,” said Dorothy as she turned

around and walked to the kitchen table to get a plate of pancakes.

"I love you too Grandma, it's just that this is all so difficult for me to accept," answered Lisa.

"It's okay, it's natural. I'm sure one day you'll accept it,” said Dorothy as she walked over to the dining

table where Lisa was sitting.

“Grandma, I'm going camping with Scott tonight. I have permission from Dad. Is it okay?" Lisa asked.

"It's okay, just go. What do you need for tonight, prepare in advance from now on,” answered Dorothy.

"Yes, Grandma."

Not long after, Sean came into the kitchen and sat at the dining table joined by Lisa and Dorothy.

During breakfast, Lisa was silent and looked at Sean and her grandmother a few times. Is it true that

her grandmother was a werewolf? Is she dreaming? So werewolves are real and exist and live with

them, Lisa thought.

Even though it's hard to believe, Lisa was trying to learn to accept, especially after everything she saw

last night. She saw everything consciously and the werewolf and the howling sound seemed close to

her. She wanted to deny it all, but it was hard to argue when she witnessed it all for herself.

Time flies, morning turns into night. At that time, it was seven o'clock in the evening. Lisa had already

unloaded all the things she was going to bring for camping. She was also fully clothed. Dorothy also

brought a basket of food and drinks for her granddaughter to enjoy when camping later.

Lisa sat in the living room accompanied by Dorothy and Sean. She couldn't wait to meet him and go

explore the hills and enjoy the beauty of the night sky with Scott. She checked messages on her cell

phone or walked to the porch to confirm Scott's arrival several times.

Finally, Scott came and stopped his car right in front of Dorothy's porch. Then he got out of the car and

walked into the house, greeting Dorothy, Sean, and Lisa. At that moment, the wolf in Dorothy and Scott

communicated with each other. She asked Scott to explain his identity to her granddaughter and she

also left Lisa to him.

Scott understood everything Dorothy meant and he promised tonight he would explain everything to

Lisa.

"We are going now, Grandma," said Lisa.

"Take care and have a good time," replied Dorothy.

"Ok, Dorothy. Thank you for all the food,” Scott said as he took Lisa's belongings and walked out to his

car.

"Please take care of my granddaughter," Dorothy begged.

"Always. Even without you asking, I will always take care of her. All right, let's go. Good night," Scott

said as he got in the car and started the engine. Lisa got into the car after hugging her grandmother

and brother.

Along the way the two joked and laughed together until they arrived at the edge of the hill which had a

beautiful view. That night, apart from Scott and Lisa, two other couples were also on the same hill for

camping, only they were far apart.

After parking the car, Lisa and Scott took their belongings to the place where they would set up their

tent. As it was getting late, Scott immediately pitched the tent, while Lisa arranged the pieces of wood

to make a bonfire. After the tent was assembled, Scott tucked all their belongings in and arranged a

sleeping bag for the two of them, then joined Lisa outside the tent. He hugged the girl from behind and

kissed the back of her head several times while warming herself by the bonfire.

“Lisa, do you like the view tonight? It's all very beautiful, isn't it?” asked Scott.

“I love it and it's all so beautiful. Thank you for taking me camping at this place. It will be a moment I will

always remember.”

"Lisa, do you know why I brought you camping here?" asked Scott.

Lisa turned and looked at Scott, then replied, “I don't know. Is there something you want to explain to

me?”

"Yes, if I explain something to you, will you listen first and not panic, and give me a chance to explain

everything?"

"Yeah, what the hell is going on Scott?" Lisa asked.
