Chapter 138: Take It Easy

Maximilian twitched his mouth but didn't retort. These people were in anger, and were difficult to

communicate with.

He turned around and had a look at the plaque. Then Maximilian sent a message to Connor to dig the

background of the company.

Most people who were running an investment company used to be a loan shark. They could be

connected with the underground organization.

Maximilian thought that this one could be the same, so Connor could find out some information.

reply.

Connor could find the company’s background quickly because he knew the boss.

“The boss, Marsh Lunn, used to run an underground bank. I heard the name before. This was a

horrible guy. If people refused to repay the money, he would take violent measures, such as breaking

tendons of hands or feet,” Maximilian whispered the message.

He also heard something about Marsh.

At first, Marsh was just a loan shark, but became the boss of the underground bank in the end. These

years, he set up some investment companies and loan companies to collect money illegally.
