CHAPTER 6- DEVIL IN DISGUISE
CHAPTER 6- DEVIL IN DISGUISE
Bee was confused whom they were talking about. Boss? She had no knowledge of any Boss...
The woman confronted, “You were spotted next to our Boss last night in that abandoned park when we
came for rescue. Can you explain what you were doing in there?” Bee finally understood who they
were talking about; it must be the wounded guy whom she saved last night.
Did they just say that he was their Boss? Does it mean he is safe and sound? Bee shook her head and
asked again to confirm it for once an all, “Is... Is Ryan your Boss?
As if something was fishy the woman looked at the spectacled man for a few seconds before pulling
out a gun and placing it on her side neck. The nozzle was right on her skin, Bee could feel the coldness
of the metal seeping through it. It took her a while to analyze what her position was and when she
finally felt the gun nozzle pressing hard on her neck Bee was terrified. It was normal for people in
America to have gun but Bee had a very bad experience with it; she once saw a man getting shot to
death by a gun right in front of her back in club. Since then guns too added to some of the things which
gave her nightmares.
Bee froze on her spot as if her slightest moment would trigger the gun; she was breaking down inside.
The sensation of the gun gave her panic; goose bumps rose all over her body as she saw the furious
woman pointing the gun at her. She clutched Bee’s hairs and pulled them; the pain and panic caused
Bee to weep all over again.
The woman seemed to not care as she confronted Bee with absolute fury in her voice, “How do you
know our master’s name? Which group do you belong to?”
“I... I don’t b... belong... “ Bee tried to pull out a sane sentence off her lips but she was shivering and
weeping so badly that it was literally impossible for her to do so. She pushed the gun hard on her neck,
Bee wriggled to free herself from her clutch which grew tighter with time. She twisted her hands and
held the gun tight, “Speak the truth or see my bullet piercing inside your neck!”
Bee couldn’t stop her tears; she saved their Boss yet she was being accused for trying to assassinate
him. She had no proof with her nor the sanity to explain her innocence to the devil trio. Bee choked to
herself; hiccuping up and crying till she turned into a mess.
“Speak!” The woman pressured her and shook the little girl’s head heavily “Waaa....” Bee yelped, she
felt her head swoon because of the violent jerking. She tried to remove the woman’s clutch off her hairs
but alas, she was too weak to push off her. Her beautiful eyes were doomed red as endless tears ran
out of it.
The only thing that flashed in her mind was that she had to explain herself; controlling her tears she
coughed up, “I... I saved him from the men... who... who were trying to k... kill him.. S... saved him... I...
Aaah...”
The woman pulled her hairs and forced Bee to look at her, she hissed, “Don’t you dare lie; we will find
out the truth... Your death will be a little painful if you confess it on your own!”
“No... Please... Please believe me... Please! I came across him w... when he was wo.. wounded; I
helped him to h... hide and tied cloth around his wound...
"Let go of her!" The spectacled man said slowly, obeying his orders the woman too loosened her grip.
Chugging her gun back into its case she backed off. "Drink the water!" The man coldly commanded;
Bee was still shivering and trembling, her senses were literally shut down causing her to react slow.
Maybe she was taking forever but her lack of reaction drained the tall main off his patience. He charged
his foot at her, "Drink or..." Seeing his gigantic foot coming at her to squash her Bee wailed covering This content provided by N(o)velDrama].[Org.
her face. The man stopped right few inches away from her face leaving a terrified Bee begging for
mercy.
She took the glass with her trembling hands and engulfed the whole content in.
"Speak!" The spectacled man ordered again.
The water helped her to calm herself down but her hands and voice was visibly trembling. She started
narrating, "Last... Last night I was dumping gar... garbage when he came and fell on me. I found him
wounded... Blood oozing out from his left abdomen! He... He told me that s... some men were after him
and asked me to leave... But... but I tied my shirt around the wound and helped him walk up to the
park."
"I wanted to call the ambulance but the men... men after him reached the park and were trying to find
him. I stayed back and stalled them... And there was a firing... They ran away. I went to look... look at
him to make sure if he is fine when... when someone hit me and I fell unconscious.
The woman stood up and walked up to the men; they discussed amongst each other in a langauge un-
understanable by Bee.
"Do yo think she is saying the truth?" The woman asked.
"I don't know, she looks innocent but we can't trust her..." Said the armed man.
"She is speaking the truth!" The spectacled man evaluated, "It is not possible for her to single handedly
harm Boss and he is not a fool to follow her to the abandoned park. The shirt which was wrapped
around his wound testify to her words."
"So, what do we do with her?"
"Let the Boss wake up and tell us what happened..." The man threw a glance at her and continued,
"Her fate will be decided by Boss. Till he wakes up let her stay locked in the room. Arrange for
someone to supply her with food..."
The trio retreated leaving the Bee alone to herself; as they watched them abandoning her again Bee
tried to make them stop but else than 'Wait..." she couldn't say another word. After they banged the
door shut behind them Bee curled up on the floor and wept; her boy was severely paining and
exhausted.
She just tried to save a life but look, her own peaceful life was messed up. These people were cruel
and she couldn't even start to think if they will leave her alive once she encounters them again. And
their Boss... what about him! He must be much bore brutal and ruthless.
But those snippets and dreams... Those showed him as a whole different person.
He was nothing like how she imagined him to be all these time... Were all the expectations of her dear
'Prince Charming' a lie...
Was she fancying not an angel but a devil in disguise all these times???
