Doted On By The Mafia Boss

CHAPTER 27- SEND HER AWAY

CHAPTER 27- SEND HER AWAY

She looked at him and intoned, “I... I know about her. You don’t have to pretend as if you are caring for

me and give me false hopes.” Ryan felt as if thunder clapped down on him; he was already having

blues if he ever heard anyone mention about her. Let alone now when Bee, the girl who was as

important to him as her, was pushing him away because of her. His chest started to tighten as he let go

of her and sat blankly, without knowing what to do.

The room fell as silent as a graveyard; the only sound which frequented was the fan spinning above

them and Bee who was hiccupping every now and then. He spoke up, “No... It’s not what you think...

I...”

“Cathey loves Ryan... It was a really beautiful drawing.” Bee spoke up, cutting through his words. This

statement was enough for him to understand that she had seen everything he treasured in his room.

Like a thief who was caught red handed Ryan couldn’t say anything for himself. “You... saw

everything?” was the only thing he managed to pull out of his lips.

Bee folded her legs and nuzzled away from him deep into her pillow, saying, “Does that... even matter.”

Ryan saw the girl pulling herself away from him as if he was a plague; he knew what all she was

thinking and what she must be seeing him as.

He wanted to say something but he felt a lump in his throat, forbidding him from speaking anything.

The man looked away, his handsome side profile reeked of remorse and misery. His Adam’s apple

bogged a few times before he closed his eyes; Bee sat there silently without knowing what to do,

seeing that he was silent for too long she bit down on her lips before accumulating courage to say,

“Send... Send me back home. I don’t want to be here anymore.”

Ryan felt his soul being torn into shreds hearing her words; his heart was shattering into pieces. He

didn’t want to let her go, it was after she came he was finally starting to be happy. It was only after she

came he was seeing rainbows after rain... He wanted her to be with him but... what right did he have to

do so.

The things that Jack said that day started flooding his mind; his assistant was right, he couldn’t keep

her imprisoned and do this to her. She already knew everything and had already come to her own

conclusion; what could he even do now. Even if he wanted to... He had no idea what to say to her.

Without saying a single word the man stood up and left leaving behind a Bee who was shattering into

pieces inside. She really anticipated something from him; she really wished he would have an

explanation for her. Even if he lied to her once that it was not true she would have gladly believed him

but not only the man stuttered, he also left without saying a single word.

She was a fool; she was a really big fool. Bee now knew nothing else than that she wanted to leave this

place as soon as possible. She buried her head in her knees and started crying.

Back in his room, Ryan stood in front of the drawings that were seen by Bee. His eyes were piercing

through the couple one; when he left her room he was not himself. He didn’t know where his legs were

taking him; he aimlessly let his body stride just to notice that they bought him to his room and stopped

right in front to the couple drawing.

He stared unwaveringly at her name without batting an eyelid; he was so lost in his own thoughts that

he didn’t notice Jack entering the room. One look and Jack understood that something was really not

right, he asked, “What happened?”

His interruption managed to pull back the man to his senses but he was still as numb as ever; he

blinked vigorously to hide the wetness of his eyes. Without turning back he slowly muttered, “Send her

back.”

Jack’s expressions dropped; he knew his friend, he won’t give up on anything this easily. Wasn’t she

the only girl he cared about in the whole world hours ago, what made him say this now? Jack touched

his shoulders which made Ryan drop his head down to his feet, he slowly admitted, “She got to know

about Cathey.”

“What are you saying?” Jack felt as if the blood which ran down his veins froze for a brief moment. IT

was something which couldn’t be kept in dark for so long and he wanted to take time to explain things

to her as this was something which could be heavily misunderstood but she found out about it sooner

than he expected.

Jack knew that Bee felt a little too attached to Ryan; she was just a little girl and was prone to act out of

impulse. This was something, if not explained properly, would hurt her to core. His friend was finally

coming out of his wall, melting and caring about someone after a really long time. Jack really saw

coming of Little Bee in his life as second chance but if she too leaves him the man would cease himself

off Earth.

Disappointment and melancholy clouded Jack’s featured as he opened his mouth to break the silence

suffocating the room, “What all does she know?” Ryan couldn’t make himself to speak anything until

Jack pressured him; the man turned around to meet glances to his friends and divulge, “I don’t know.”

“I understand.” Jack spoke under his breath, he couldn’t ask why didn’t he explain as he could imagine

what kind of position he would have been in. Jack scanned Ryan with his heedful gaze; the pain was

piercing through his heart yet he was trying to keep himself composed. Just... How much more was he

to suffer? He admits that his hands were not clean and reeked of blood but only a few knew how

hopeless this ruthless looking boss of his was.

Jack closed his eyes and sighed deeply before huffing determination, “Don’t worry, Ryan. I will fix this...

I can’t see you like those years again.” Saying this the man strode out and didn’t stop until he reached

Bee’s room.

Standing outside he started preparing what all he had to say to her and it was the truth. She deserved

to know everything and he will let her know; after that he would let her choose if she wanted to leave or

stay.

The man knocked on the door before pushing it open to meet his eyes with the withered girl who sat

nuzzled on the bed. Her eyes were bulged out with her eyes and cheeks flushed red which seemed to

be the result of her relentless crying. Seeing that Jack was here Bee wiped away her tears and tried to

curve her lips into a warm smile; this little action of hers made her look quite pitiful in his eyes. “Jack,

you are here. How was the trip?” She asked, trying to cheer up her voice but no matter how hard she

tried she couldn’t mask her heartache.

“I know what happened.” Jack said slowly and Bee’s hard kept smile started to fade before finally

disappearing somewhere in her desolation. She dropped her gaze down and kept mum without

knowing what else to say. Jack pulled a chair and sat down beside her and slowly started, “How are

you feeling?”

“Bad!” Bee’s reply was a hoarse one word. Jack sighed, “I know it was wrong for him to keep this from

you but... He was about to tell you it soon.” Bee stayed mum, unmoved or to be rigorous had no idea

what words she was meant to put together.

Jack continued, “I know you must be feeling awful but it is not how you think it is. She is not with Ryan

anymore!” NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.

Bee’s face emerged with mask of confusion and hesitation, “Why? Where is she?”

“She is dead...” Jack looked into her eyes and said it out in a serious tone pulling colours away from

Bee’s face.
