Contract Marriage With The Disabled CEO By Woody Rain Chapter 32

Chapter 32

Chapter 32 Why It Was Kerwin?

When Jeffrey heard the voice, his heart almost contracted. He hung up without hesitation.

Staring at his mobile phone for a long time, he suddenly burst into laughters.

Although he only heard “hello”, he recognized the voice.

Kerwin?

It was really Kerwin??

Betty was really with him!

Jeffrey laughed almost ’til tears filled his eyes. Looking at the name “Betty” in his address book, he suddenly felt that it was so dazzling.

Betty! How much did I owe you in my previous life? So you tortured me like this!

You were married, but you hooked up with another man, and why was it Kerwin!

At the other end of the phone, Kerwin looked still calm and indifferent. He put Betty’s cell phone

down.

“Who was it?” Betty lay in the car seat. She was confused with drunkenness, so Kerwin answered the phone for her.

“Sales call.” Kerwin’s expression remained unchanged.

“Oh, okay.” Betty’s head really hurt, so she didn’t doubt his words at all but just covered her head.

“You are having a headache?” Kerwin was still a little angry, but seeing her face twist with pain, he

softened his tone involuntarily.

“Yes,” Betty answered and then a pair of big hands covered her temples,

“Are you feeling better?”

Kerwin stroked her temples with his slightly rough fingers. Betty’s cheeks were burning, she felt his fingers were a bit cold.

She stiffened slightly and her heart raced for no reason. She moved and said, “Well, I feel much better. Thank you.” Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.

When she just moved slightly, Kerwin suddenly pulled her into his arms and held her tightly.

“Don’t move,” he said. His voice seemed colder than usual.

Betty froze for an instant and turned her head sideways. Under the streetlight coming through the window, she suddenly noticed that the indifferent look on Kerwin’s face was different from usual. He seemed to be mad at something.

She sobered up a little and said carefully, “Kerwin, are you angry?”

She was at least his wife. Any man would be angry if he saw his wife being molested, right?

“What do you think?” Kerwin asked coldly. The temperature in the car seemed to drop suddenly.

“Sorry,” Betty whispered.

“That’s all?” Kerwin slightly raised an eyebrow.

Betty was stunned. She looked at Kerwin in front of her and suddenly thought of something.

“Well, don’t overthink.” Betty got worried. “I thought it was an ordinary dinner. I didn’t expect that Cooper would do that to me.”

She was suddenly a little worried that Kerwin would misunderstand her like Jeffrey and think she

was a tramp.

Somehow, she was afraid that Kerwin would misunderstand her.

Maybe it was because Kerwin was her husband and the only one who made her feel warm. She

didn’t want him to detest her.

Kerwin looked at Betty with a gleam of strange light in his eyes.

“I know.” He paused for a moment before he spoke. His tone seemed to have softened a bit.

Betty was relieved, and then Kerwin continued.

“Don’t go to such dinners again.”

Betty nodded obediently.

She was still a bit drunk. Kerwin massaged her temples with proper strength. She felt very comfortable, so she could not help leaning against his shoulder.

Feeling this, Kerwin stiffened slightly.

He looked down and saw Betty’s red cheeks. Her long eyelashes trembled, and she opened her mouth slightly. She was like a sweet peach.

Kerwin’s black pupils shrunk.

Some emotion almost spilled from his heart. He couldn’t ignore that anymore.

“Betty,” he suddenly said, and his voice was even lower. “Huh?” Betty responded in confusion. She raised her head and realized that Kerwin’s face was so close. They were less than five centimeters apart.

“Ah, sorry.” Betty then realized that she was leaning on Kerwin and tried to sit up straight.

However, Kerwin’s hand suddenly slid down her cheek and pinched her chin.

The next second…
