Hannah is seen in the living room sitting on the couch staring at Brandon who was on a phone call at the other side of the room.

Jessica had taken Jayden upstairs to his room.

So, she was behind all this all this time, Damn. How could she be so heartless? What have I ever done to offend her, I swear to God I will make her pay for everything she did. She wanted me dead. God!, Hannah thought as tears gathered in her eyes.

On the other hand, she began to wonder who had killed Rhoda. She felt her head aching so bad, she closed her eyes trying to rest her head.

“Liam, come to the green room (Study room)” Brandon who was done answering the phone call said and Liam nodded in response.

Immediately they got to the study room, Brandon turned to Liam.

“Do you think she did it? Do you think she killed Rhoda” Brandon asked

“Sir, I’m not sure what to think anymore. Hannah hated Rhoda” Liam said and Brandon sighed softly.

“What do you think sir? Do you think she’s capable of such?” Liam asked

“I don’t know Liam, but from everything she said I believe she was telling the truth. She had received a text message from Rhoda, she had to go because that is what the text message stated.

But my question is, if she didn’t kill her, who did?” Brandon questioned and Just then he heard his phone ring.

It was a call from the chief of police staff, Traven.

“Hello, Jack Traven,” Brandon said

“Mr Colby, your name has been cleared off the issue but we have a problem, ” Traven said and Brandon wondered what it was.

“What is the problem?” Brandon asked

“After a thorough investigation and all, we found the fingerprint of your wife on the door and a gun that was found in one of these rooms, your wife’s fingerprint was found in it and I believe the same gun was used to kill Rhoda, I think your wife killed Rhoda,” Traven said and Brandon muttered shit.

“I would call you in a bit, ” Brandon said and ended the call and went downstairs to meet Hannah whose eyes were closed, and Micheal was sitting beside her.

“You lied to me!” Brandon yelled and Hannah opened her eyes at once wondering what he was talking about.

“What are you talking about?” Hannah asked with a confused expression on her face

“You lied you didn’t have anything to do with Rhoda’s death, but you were the one who killed her,” Brandon said, obviously angry at her at the moment.

“What? I didn’t kill her, I would never do such a thing to her” Hannah said and Brandon scoffed while he shook his head.

“You want to tell me why your fingerprint was found on the gun used in killing Rhoda? You want to explain how that happened?” Brandon said and Hannah became dead silent. She cannot tell them she had seen the gun in Jayden’s hands.

She knows someone must have put it in his hands, she didn’t want to ruin her son’s life.

“Brandon, it’s not what you think. I swear to God, I didn’t do it. I didn’t kill her” Hannah said as she stood up and tried moving towards Brandon but then Brandon moved back.

“Don’t you dare move close to me! Why did you do it?” Brandon asked with disappointment in her eyes.

“I think I know why” A voice muttered and they all turned to see Grandma Elizabeth.

“I did my investigation on her and I found out she was first married to Jeff but then she was thrown out of the house because Rhoda, her best friend, had gotten pregnant for Jeff and they both had a son together since Hannah couldn’t have a child.

She felt betrayed and since then she has planned on revenge by killing Rhoda which she eventually did. You killed that sweet innocent soul ” Elizabeth said and Hannah became numb, when she finally regained her composure, she then spoke out.

“I would never do that to Rhoda. Fine, I agree. I never liked her after what she did but I would not kill her” Hannah said and Brandon stared at her angrily. He felt she was still lying after everything.

“I believe her,” Micheal said as he stepped forward.

“I have only known Hannah for some time and I can stand and say she’s telling the truth. It’s obvious Rhoda kidnapped Jayden and I think someone found out about it.

She tried killing whoever found out about it, but the person was quick to kill her and then texted Hannah to frame her. Someone else killed Rhoda,” Micheal said and they all stared at him like he was saying nonsense.

Hannah stared at Micheal with tears in her eyes, he was the only one who believed her. Brandon, whom she called her husband, didn’t even trust her or believe her.

Just then the door burst open revealing the FBI.

“We are here for Mrs. Colby,” The FBI said, moving towards Hannah.

“You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.

You have the right to an attorney. If you can’t afford an attorney, one will be provided for you.

You can exercise any of these rights by not responding to my questions, or making any statement.

Do you understand the rights I’m reading to you?” The FBI said as they handcuffed Hannah and took her away. Hannah felt the whole world came crashing down on her.

The only thing on Hannah’s mind was her kids, how would they live without her, who would take care of them in her absence?

Brandon stared at Hannah and looked away. He just couldn’t stand the sight of the FBI taking her away. It pained his heart so much.

“Call my lawyers,” Brandon said to Liam and walked away.

Micheal stared at Brandon with a look of disappointment on his face. He walked out of the house and Dialed Arianna Mackenzie’s contact.

“Hello Micheal, I have been trying to reach you but your phone has been going to voicemails, ” Arianna saidBelonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

“I guess it was a network problem. We have a problem ma’am ” Arianna said

“Is it about Hannah? I have been trying to reach her for days but she hasn’t been answering her phone calls” Arianna said.

“Yes, she’s been taken by the FBI,” Micheal said

“What??? And what did Brandon do about it?” She asked

“Nothing,” Micheal said

“Shit!! I’m on my way to Atlanta now”
