“What the hell is going on here?” He questioned the moment he walked in. A cold shiver ran down her spine, she knew everything was about to go down.

“Nothing, I was just letting Lisa know her place in this house,” she said as she moved towards Brandon and hugged him. She pulled away from the hug and kissed him lightly on the lips.

Brandon stared at her with a look of surprise on his face. Hannah had never kissed him first and for the first time, she kissed him first.

He felt his heart leap out in joy. He felt so happy.

Hannah on the other hand pulled away from the kiss and then moved towards Lisa and whispered in her ears.

” I have something you can never have, Lisa, and that’s him….” She said and then walked upstairs to her room.

Lisa on the other hand gritted her teeth, she felt like she was about to explode with jealousy at that moment in time. She felt anger mixed with sadness run through her at once.

She glared at Brandon and looked away before going to the kitchen to get the food she had wanted to eat but she had already lost appetite because Hannah had kissed Brandon in front of her.

She left the room and went outside to sit by the poolside. She needed fresh air.

Hannah on the other hand had just gotten to her room when the door opened revealing Brandon. He had this bright look on his face.

Hannah stared at him and then looked away.

“You kissed me,” he said and she rolled her eyes.

“I only did what I did because of Lisa, she’s so annoying,” she said and Brandon kept smiling. The thought of Hannah marking her territory made her smile.

Hannah turned to Brandon and saw he was smiling, she wondered what was funny and why he was smiling.

He moved closer to her and wrapped his hands around her waist. He drew her closer leaving no space between them.

“Shhh, don’t move” he muttered and then smashed his lips on hers.

Meanwhile, the octuplets are seen in the room, they are already done playing games and are talking about their schools.

Suddenly, Allison took the hairbrush and decided to brush Mellisa’s hair.

“Your hair looks scattered, can I brush it?” She asked and Mellisa nodded giving her permission to.

She brushed the hair and then helped her style it in two ponytails. She took her hair band and tied it on the ponytail and then dropped the brush on the dressing table beside her bed.

“Wow, you look so pretty,” Allison said as Mellisa stared at herself in the mirror and then smiled. She loved the hairstyle.

The octuplets stared at each other as they stared at the hairbrush which contained a few strands of Mellisa’s hair.

Meanwhile, Lisa was seen by the pool when she saw Matthew’s car drive inside the compound.

He alighted the car while he was on a phone call.

“I lied to her that I’m going to see my aunt, can you please stop calling me so she won’t be suspicious?” Matthew said as he closed the car door and then let out a sigh before ending the call.

He stared at Lisa who was also staring at him. He smiled at her and walked away. Meanwhile, Lisa watched Matthew as he walked away till he was out of her sight.

She wondered who he was talking to on the phone.

Oh my goodness, does this mean Matthew is a spy, damn!! She thought and then brought out her phone and decided to find out who Matthew was, maybe then she could use it against Jessica, she thought as a smile appeared on her face.

Jessica is seen in her room sitting on her bed with no expression on her face while chatting with her investigator when the door opens revealing Jeff.

“Hey” Jeff muttered and Jessica stared at him with a look of anger on her face but then she quickly replaced it with a smile on her face.

“Hey, you are back, how’s your aunt?” She asked as she stood up and kissed him lightly on his cheeks.

“She’s okay,” he said in response as he dropped his phone on the bed and walked inside the bathroom.

Asshole, you are lying straight to my face. Damn!!, she muttered as she sat tiredly on the bed.

Just then a text message popped on her phone, it was from her investigator.

She opened the message and read out.

*I found out who he is. turns out the guy Matthew went to see is the Chairman of GTB Global Publishing company.

Matthew had worked with him as a reporter and a publisher for over five years and still counting. He gives him whatever information he needs to publish and he gets paid for it.

And about his aunt, he doesn’t have any aunt or relative in Atlanta,” she read out and then felt a cold shiver down her spine.

What the hell?!, she muttered as she stared at her screen looking speechless. Matthew was worse than all the men she’d ever dated.

He’s a reporter! she thought as different thoughts came running through her head.

It was then it dawned on her that her and Matthew’s first meeting wasn’t a coincidence, he had approached her because he knew who she was from the start.

He just wanted to get close to her so he could know about her family and publish everything about her family for money.

Tears gathered in her eyes as she felt her heartbeat increase at once.

The pain she feels in her heart right now cannot be compared to any kind of pain she’s ever felt. This was the worst.

Just then Matthew walked out of the bathroom. Jessica stood up and turned to him.

“You lied to me-”

“What?”

“You fucking lied to me, I thought you loved me but it was all an act just to get to know everything about my family, you were spying on me and my family all this time” she yelled as tears slipped down her cheeks.
