“I’m so sorry Lucas. I’m so sorry for what happened” she said and just then she pulled him into a warm hug.

Just then she pulled away from the hug.

“Come, I will take you to your room,” she said as she helped him out of the wine cellar and took him to his room.

She helped him lie on the bed and covered him properly with the duvet. She glared at him for some seconds and was about to walk away when he held her hands.

“Hey,” she muttered as she turned to him.

“Could you please spend the night with me?” He said and Hannah furrowed her brows as she sat beside him.

“I can’t Lucas, you have to rest,” she said and he opened his eyes and tried sitting up but Hannah held him.

“You should be resting, Lucas, don’t move,” she said but he refused to lay down, he then sat on the bed.

“Why didn’t you tell me in time that Lisa was lying to me?” Lucas asked.

“I don’t know, maybe because you love her too much and you wouldn’t believe me,” she said as she paused while staring deep into her oceanic eyes.

“I would have believed you. I know you would never lie to me, Hannah” he said as he inched his face closer to hers.

“I love you, Hannah,” he said and had wanted to kissed her but then she moved her face away and stood up.

“You should rest Lucas, Good night,” she said as she glared at him for a few seconds and then walked out of the room.

She heaved a sigh of relief the moment she walked out. She wondered why Lucas would tell her he loves her when he knows she’s married to Brandon.

He’s probably drunk and doesn’t know what he’s saying, she thought and then went to her room.

The moment she opened the door to her room she met Brandon lying on the bed. He had this bright look on his face.

“What are you doing here Brandon? You should be asleep” she said as she laid beside him on the bed with a tired look on her face.

“I tried looking for you, where have you been?” He asked and she stared at him. She didn’t know if she should tell him she was with Lucas and he tried to kiss her.

“I need to sleep Brandon,” she said as she closed her eyes.

“Hannah, I’m happy Mellisa isn’t dead,” he said and Hannah opened her eyes and then turned to him.

“Do you think she’s Mellisa?” Hannah asked.

“Yeah, she’s Mellisa. although she looks a little bit different, maybe because the last time I saw her she was still a baby,” he said and she nodded in response and closed her eyes then drifted to sleep.

Brandon stared at her pretty face as she slept with a lot of thoughts going through his mind.

The fact that he’s found his daughter doesn’t mean he would stop investigating about Lisa. He still needed to know how she was able to make the payment and take the child without him knowing.

It was morning and Hannah had woken up so early to prepare breakfast for the kids. When she woke up, Brandon was no longer in her room.

She wondered when he left last night. She stood up, did her normal morning routine, and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

When she was done, she called the kids downstairs to come eat.

The kids could be seen munching on their food when Lisa and Mellisa were seen climbing down the stairs.

“You didn’t call Melissa down for breakfast,” Lisa said as she pulled the chair backward and helped Mellida sit on the chair.

“Melissa honey, how was your night?” Hannah asked, ignoring Lisa.

“It was fine Mommy,” she said and Lisa and the octuplets raised their eyebrows.

“Mommy?” they muttered at once to be sure of what they’d heard.

“I thought I told you not to call her mommy, I’m your mommy” Lisa whispered and she rolled her eyes.

“But Daddy asked me to call her mommy,” Mellisa said with an innocent look on her face.

“He’s not your daddy. I mean he’s your daddy, you came here with me and you would listen to me alone” she whispered and then raised her head and saw Hannab and the octuplets staring at her.

She smiled at the octuplets.

“Mommy, who is she and why the hell is she calling you mommy?” Jayden asked.

“And when did we have another sibling that we do not know about” Allison asked as they stared at Melissa who was staring at them.

“Sweethearts, this is your step-sister, Mellisa, and Mellisa, these are your siblings,” Hannah said and the octuplets raised their eyebrows as they stared at each other.

“Step sister? Okay, what the hell is going on?” Aubrey whispered.

“Hi, I’m Mellisa,” Mellisa muttered with a smile on her face. She had finally met the octuplets and she wouldn’t lie, they were so pretty and handsome.

“I’m Jayden, these are my siblings, Allison, Addison, Aubrey, Audrey, Japer, Jaxon, Jamie,” Jayden said and they waved at her.

“That’s a lot of names to process, I believe with time I will master you all names and faces because you guys look a lot alike,” Mellisa said and Jayden smiled.

“Anyways, it’s nice meeting you sister, “Jasper said and they smiled.

“We could hang out later and get to know each other more” Jaxon said and Mellisa nodded.

Lisa felt her heart melt as she watched the kids converse smoothly and properly. They looked so cute.

Hannah smiled as she watched the kids, they were flowing so well. She let out a sigh.

“Okay now, kids let’s eat before the food gets cold,” Hannah said and the kids nodded in response and started eating.

“Everyone is having breakfast without me,” Jessica, who is seen climbing down the stairs said as she stared at Lisa with a disgusted look on her face.

This isn’t going to end well, Hannah thought.
