Meanwhile, Lucas is seen in his room going through his phone when he suddenly receives a call from the florist that the flowers have been delivered.

He smiled as he ended the call. He knew Brandon would have seen the flowers by now and would be angry, he chuckled.

He stood up from the bed, took his bath, and put on a black trouser and a shirt.

He walked out of his room and went downstairs, the moment he got downstairs he met Jessica sitting on the couch in the sitting room.

“Hey, little sis” he muttered and Jessica raised her head and stared at him then looked away.

“Come on sis, you can’t be angry with me over last night. I’m sorry for ruining the dinner last night. I’m sorry, please forgive me” he said Jessica stood up and was about to walk away from him but then Lucas stood in her way.

“Get out of my way, Lucas,” she said and Lucas pouted.

“Please, forgive your Brother,” he said and Jessica sighed. No matter how much she tried to hate Lucas, she just couldn’t, he’s still her Brother and she must confess, those times he was gone, she missed him.

“Fine, I’m giving you one more chance. If you mess up this time, I will not give you another chance” she said and Lucas smiled and pulled her into a tight hug.

“I…I can’t breathe Lucas ” she managed to say and Lucas quickly let go of her.

“Sorry,” he muttered and she smiled.

She wondered what was wrong with him, why he was in a good mood. Just then Jessica heard the doorbell ring.

She moved towards the door and opened it. It was the delivery man, he had brought the cloth she ordered for.

“Thank you, keep the change,” she said as she took the clothes and gave the man money. She then closed the door.

“What’s that?” Lucas asked.

“It’s a dress for a banquet party Mr Thomas is holding for his company.

I was invited, Brandon and Hannah were also invited, they would be attending too” Jessica said as she checked her time.

The party would be starting any moment from now, she needed to get dressed, she thought, and then walked away.

Lucas hummed as a thought crossed his mind, he needed to attend the party too, he thought, and was about to climb upstairs to his room when he saw Arianna walk out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee in her hands.

As much as he didn’t want to apologize to her, he had no choice but to because he wanted to get on Hannah’s good side, he thought, and then walked towards Arianna.

“Lucas” Arianna called and he smiled.

“I want to apologize for ruining dinner last night. I’m sorry, I didn’t intend to” he said and Arianna smiled.

“It’s fine son,” she said as she smiled. Lucas nodded and with that, he walked upstairs to his room to get dressed for the party and just then the front door opened revealing Hannah.

“Hey Mom” Hannah muttered as she walked in, and moved towards Arianna and kissed her on her cheeks.

She then noticed the look on her face, she looked happy.

“You look happy,” Hannah said and Arianna chuckled.

“Lucas Apologized, I wasn’t expecting him to but he did apologize. So I’m happy. I thought he hated me but turns out he doesn’t” Arianna said and Hannah raised her eyebrows.

Oh, he did what he had said, Hannah thought as she smiled inwardly.

“Why are you home this early? Ain’t you supposed to be at the company?” Arianna asked.

“I came to dress up for the banquet party,” Hannah said and Arianna nodded in response.

“You should go get dressed, you don’t want to be late,” Arianna said and Hannah smiled at her before walking upstairs to her room.

Meanwhile, Brandon is seen in his office looking furious when the door bursts open revealing Liam.

“Sir, Mrs Colby has left the company. I think she’s going home to get dressed for the banquet party” Liam said and Brandon sighed.

“How about the dress?” Brandon asked.

“Delivered. She would meet it at her bed when she gets home” Liam said and Brandon nodded and stood up.

He needed to go home, he would be the one taking Hannah to the banquet party. She wouldn’t be going in her car, she would be going in mine instead, he thought and with that, he walked out of his office.

He walked towards the elevator, pressed the button and when it opened, he got inside. The elevator opened when it got to the last floor.

As Brandon walked out of the company, he heard whispers.

“I heard Mr Brandon was the one who had distributed Flowers to all the workers. He’s so generous” the workers kept whispering among each other.

Brandon raised his eyebrows surprised at what he had heard.

He brought out his phone and dialed Liam’s number as he walked towards his car.

“Did you tell everyone I was the one who asked for the flowers to be distributed to them?” He asked as he opened his car door and hopped in.

“Mrs Colby asked me to,” Liam said in response and Brandon sighed before ending the call.

He wondered why she would ask Liam to tell everyone he was the one who distributed flowers when they both knew he would never think of such, he thought as he ignited the engine and zoomed off.

He climbed down the stairs and just then he saw Rosa in the living room watching TV. He stared at her and looked away.

“Jeff” Rosa called as she stood up and he turned to her.

“What do you want?” He asked

“You’ve been avoiding me and David for some time now. You would leave the house before we wake up and then come back home when we are all asleep.

I know you hate me, Jeff, you have every right to. But please don’t turn your back on your son, he needs you” Rosa said and Jeff glared at her and walked away without saying a word.

He needed to get to Thomas’s Banquet party in time, he didn’t want to be late.
