Chapter 207

The moment he climbed upstairs to his room, everyone turned and stared at each other.

Brandon, who was looking furious, walked upstairs to his study room. Arianna went after him.

Hannah sighed and decided to go prepare dinner for her kids as they would be hungry and waiting for her.

“This doesn’t seem like a good one,” Matthew said and Jessica nodded.

“My brother, Lucas, is a psychopath. We didn’t talk about him more often because of how he died, rather how we thought he died.

And Brandon had been feeling guilty about it, So, not to bring up memories, Everyone had decided not to talk about it” Jessica said as she and Matthew both walked back upstairs to her room and Matthew hummed.

“He’s going to ask questions about you, please do your best to avoid him, while you are here,” Jessica said and Matthew nodded in response.

“Jessica, I will be going to see my aunt today and will be spending the night there, she’s been calling and saying she misses me,” Matthew said

“Oh, it’s okay. I can come with you if you want me to” she said as they entered the room.

“No no, it’s fine. I will be back by tomorrow” Matthew said and Jessica smiled. Matthew closed the door behind him, moved closer to her, and kissed her.

Jessica felt this tingling sensation rush through her veins as he kissed her. She closed her eyes as she let the feelings wash over her.

Matthew pulled away from the kiss and pulled her into a hug. She felt so much at peace at the way Matthew was treating her and right now, she had already fallen in love with him.

Meanwhile, Brandon is seen in his study room pacing to and fro when Arianna walks in.

“Brandon” she called and he turned to her.

“He’s your brother, please, you just have to calm down, ” Arianna said and Brandon scoffed.

“Calm down? He’s been stalking my wife” he said and Arianna sighed softly.

“I will talk to him please just calm down,” she said and just then she heard her phone ring. She gave Brandon one last glance before going outside to answer the call.

Meanwhile, Hannah who was in the kitchen was done preparing dinner and was dishing it out on the dining table with the help of the maids.

After which she went upstairs to call her kids to come eat. They all rushed out of their room and went downstairs to eat.

They sat in the dining room and began to devour their food.

“Mommy, it’s so delicious, ” they all said at once, and Hannah smiled.

Just then Hannah saw Lucas climbing down the stairs. She sighed as he walked towards them, joined them at the dining table and asked the maid to serve him some food.

The kids stared at him wondering who he was.

“Mommy, who is he?” Allison asked and Hannah turned to Lucas who was staring at her.

“Uhm, he’s ……”

“I’m your uncle. My name is Lucas” he said, cutting off Hannah’s speech with a smile on his face and the kids hummed.

“The pleasure is mine,” he said and the kids looked away from him and focused on their food. It wasn’t long before the maid brought Lucas his food.

He gave the maid a seductive smile and kissed her hands. Hannah stared at him disgustingly and then turned to her kids, thankfully they were focused on their food and didn’t see what Lucas was doing.

“Brenda, could you please finish the dishes in the kitchen?” Hannah said to the maid who nodded and quickly rushed to the kitchen.

Lucas scoffed and started eating his food while stealing glances at Hannah.

Hannah had noticed the look he was giving her and she felt so uncomfortable.

It wasn’t long before the kids were done eating and Hannah had asked them to go upstairs to their room which they did without any hesitation.

Hannah stood up and packed the dishes to the kitchen and Lucas also stood up and walked inside the kitchen.

“I know you must be wondering where you had seen me before aside from the grocery store,” Lucas said like he had read Hannah’s mind.

Hannah turned to look at him and then looked away without saying a word and Lucas rolled his eyes.

“I’m not your enemy Hannah,” he said and she sighed.

“Why have you been stalking me?” Hannah, who had been quiet the whole time, asked and he sighed.

“Nothing, I just like stalking you, it’s fun,” he said and Hannah stared at him weirdly.

Stalking is fun, he must be crazy, she thought, and then turned to leave when Lucas stood in his way.

“Get out of my way, Lucas,” she said and he bit his lips seductively. Hannah felt so irritated with the way he was acting.

He squinted his eyes as he stared at her and suddenly he moved away from her.

She walked past him and walked out of the kitchen before going upstairs to her room.

The moment she entered her room she was welcomed with the sight of Brandon sitting on the couch, his face looking soured.

She stared at him, wondering what he was doing in her room. She thought he had said he wouldn’t come to her room after she told him how she felt about him,

“Why didn’t you tell me my brother was stalking you?” Brandon asked

“I didn’t know he was your brother, I thought it was some sort of stranger and I didn’t feel the need to tell you,” Hannah said and the frown on Brandon’s face deepened.

He then stood up and moved towards her, and she took a step backward. With every step he takes forward, she takes a step backward.

“I’m your husband and you are supposed to tell me every fucking thing,” he said as a cold and possessive look flashed through his eyes.

She swallowed into nothing as she trembled at his looks.

“I can take care of myself, Brandon” She trembled at his touch as she swallowed into nothing. She could feel her heart running a marathon race and her breath becoming intense.

“You are my responsibility, Hannah. I am supposed to protect you. How do you expect me to protect you when you tell me nothing” he said and she stared into his eyes.

Their eyes locked together for some seconds but Hannah quickly looked away but then Brandon placed his hands on her chin and made her look into his eyes.

Suddenly, he placed his lips on hers and kissed her.
