He stared at Hannah looking so furious.

“You little Devil” he muttered angrily and suddenly Arianna moved towards him and slapped him so hard on his face and he groaned angrily.

His family was at gunpoint and he could do nothing about what was going on now. He wasn’t gonna let all this slide, all he wanted right now was to get his family to safety then he would be back for all of them.

“I cursed the day I met you” Arianna yelled and slapped him again for the second time and spit on his face.

Brandon turned to Micheal and asked him to let go of Emilia and the kids which he did.

Emilia and the kids ran into Wilson’s embrace and burst into tears.

“Shhhh, you all are safe now. Daddy is here. I promise to keep you all safe” Wilson said consoling Emilia and the kids who were shivering In fear..

“Slowly and gently walk out of here with your family and do not try anything stupid,” Brandon said to Wilson who shot him a deadly glare before walking out of the house with his family and bodyguard.

Immediately they walked out, Arianna turned to Brandon.

“He won’t try anything stupid for now, he’s gonna get his family into hiding, if he tries anything again, then I would have no choice than to find Bernardo Provenzano myself since he’s the only one he’s scared of,” Brandon said and Arianna sighed.

“You do not want to involve Bernardo Provenzano,” Micheal said as he stepped forward and placed his gun in his pocket.

“Why? Do you know him?” Hannah asked

“He’s a ghost like people call him. No one has ever seen him, no one knows what he looks like except a few people in his circle.

Arianna smiled at her. Just then she caught a glimpse of Jessica who was standing by the stairs watching the whole scenario.

She had heard noises and decided to come downstairs to check and then she saw Wilson had another family.

The thought of it broke her heart. She couldn’t believe her father left just to start a family elsewhere and when she saw how he showed them love and affection, she felt her heart break more because her father had never shown her nor Brandon that kind of love.

Parents are supposed to love their children right, but Wilson’s case was different, he never loved them nor cared about them.

“Jessica” Arianna called as tears gathered in her eyes. She could see the pain in Jessica’s eyes.

“Mom, are you alright? Did he hurt you?” Jessica asked as she climbed down the stairs and walked towards Arianna.

“I’m fine honey, how are you?” Arianna asked as she touched her face and more tears slipped down her cheeks.

“I’m sorry about your father, I’m sorry you have to witness all of that, I’m so sorry,” Arianna said as she pulled Jessica into a deep hug.

Jessica smiled and pulled away from the hug and wiped the tears in her eyes.

“I’m fine Mom, I’m fine, he chose his family already, he’s no longer my father, he’s no longer my father,” she said as she smiled and kept wiping the tears in her eyes.

“I don’t know why, these stupid tears won’t just stop coming out of my eyes,” she said as she kept wiping her tears.

“Jessica……” Arianna called

“I’m fine Mom, I’m okay, I promise I am. Who cares about him when I have you and Brandon and everyone else” she said and turned to Brandon who was staring at her.

She could see the pain in Brandon’s eyes but he was trying too hard to mask whatever pain he

He moved towards Jessica and did what no one had ever expected him to do, he pulled her into a hug.

Jessica was surprised, since the day she knew Brandon as her brother, he had never hugged her to console her or make her feel better, he only walked away.

But now, it was different, he hugged her and whispered in her ear.

“Even though he leaves, you still have me, you have us, we’ve got each other.

I Promise I won’t leave you, you are still my little princess” Brandon said and Jessica felt her heart melt at once.

All the hope she’s lost came back again, she felt so much happiness run through her veins.

He pulled away from the hug and wiped her tears, then kissed her on the forehead, and with that, he walked upstairs to his study room.

Arianna smiled as she witnessed the affectionate scene in front of her. Brandon was a good big brother, even though at times he pretended not to care, he had always cared, she thought as she smiled.

Hannah on the other hand saw how Brandon consoled Jessica, and she felt tears stream down her cheeks. she quickly wiped her tears.

Jessica was so lucky to have Brandon as a big brother. She wished she had other siblings too. She was the only child of her parents, she thought as memories of her mom who had died of cancer came running into her head.

She misses her mom so much, she was her best friend and everything, but sadly death took her away from her.

It was all her Father’s fault, if he hadn’t left her and her mom, none of this would have happened, and her beloved mother would still be alive.

She would never forgive her father.
