“We will be so lucky today if we can get through the hour without you and Jeff blowing each other’s heads off,” Jessica said as she took the cup of alcohol from the table and poured it in her mouth before walking out of the study room.

Alex is seen opening the door for Jeff. He walked inside the house while staring at the interior design of the house. it looked so beautiful and the house looked so big, he thought.

Just then he saw Jessica, Brandon, and Arianna walking towards him.

Jessica moved towards him and hugged him then kissed him on his cheeks.

“Hey, I’m glad you came, this is my mom.

Mom this is my fiancée ” Jessica said and Arianna smiled.

“Hello, Mr Jeff. Welcome to the family” Arianna said and Jeff smiled and then turned to Brandon who stared at him with no expression on his face.

“We’ve already met, Brandon Colby,” Jeff said as he brought forth his hands for a handshake but then Brandon pulled him into a hug and whispered in his ear

“I do not like you, but my sister seems to be so stubborn because of how much she loves you.

For the sake of my sister, I’m going to bury the hatchet. I won’t let my sister suffer because of what happens between us. Although, do not think I forgive you for kidnapping my kids” Brandon said and pulled away from the hug.

Jeff smiled at him.

“Welcome to the family, dinner has been served. Let’s go eat before it gets cold” Arianna said and led the way to the dining, leaving Jessica and Brandon alone.

“Where’s Hannah?” Jessica asked

“She would be down in a minute, she needs some minutes alone,” Brandon said Jessica nodded and they both went to the dining room and sat on the chair while the maid dished out the food.

Elizabeth came and joined them at the dining table. Arianna knew things were about to get dirty since Elizabeth was there.

Just then Hannah is seen climbing down the stairs and putting on the red dress Brandon had gotten for her. She was looking as beautiful as ever. She was the most beautiful woman in the whole building at that moment.

“Oh, Hannah is here, ” Elizabeth said and they all turned towards her direction as they stared at her beautiful dress, admiring her beauty.

Hannah walked towards them and sat close to Brandon.

“You look pretty,” Brandon said with a smile on his face.

“Thank you” Hannah muttered and smiled at him in Return. Brandon had already told her they needed to act like a real couple.

“Jeff on the other hand kept staring at Hannah, she was looking so beautiful more than ever and so different from when she was with him.

It was then Jeff realized he had just lost this beautiful woman to Brandon.

Elizabeth, who noticed Jeff staring at Hannah, smiled inwardly. Now this is about to get tough, she thought.

“So, Jeff, your mom didn’t come with you,” Arianna said, drifting Jeff’s attention away from Hannah.

“She’s not in town, she left to do something important, don’t worry, she will attend the wedding,” Jeff said and Arianna smiled and continued eating.

“I can see how much Jessica loves you, I wonder what you did to her that made her love you this way,” Brandon said and Jeff smiled and held Jessica’s hands.

“Jessica turned me into a better person and I love her too,” Jeff said and Jessica rolled her eyes.

“So Jeff, I heard you’ve been married twice,” Elizabeth said and Jeff smiled at her.

“Grandma!” Jessica muttered as she shut her with a deadly glare.

“No, it’s fine!” Jeff said, smiling broadly, looking like a gentleman.

“Yes, I have,” Jeff said in response.

“So, what happened to your last two marriages?” Elizabeth asked smiling

“Uhm, my first wife and I got divorced. My second wife, she left and a few weeks ago I found out she had died” Jeff said as he stared at Hannah and then looked away.

“Oh, I’m so sorry about her death, may her soul rest in peace.

I heard the rumor that your first wife was a barren woman but then all of a sudden she gave birth. Is that true? What if she was cheating on you while you both were still together?” Elizabeth asked and Jeff stared at Hannah who maintained a straight face while eating her food.

“I will be back with my lawyers. Thanks for this sumptuous meal” Jeff said and they all smiled at him, except Hannah of course who maintained a straight face.

It was so obvious Hannah didn’t like Jeff and the sight of him irritated her so much.

“I’ll see you to the door,” Jessica said, stood up, and walked out of the dining room with Jeff. A few minutes after she came back looking furious.

“What were those questions you were asking Jeff? Were they necessary?” Jessica said and Elizabeth rolled her eyes.

“I’m sorry alright, it’s just a harmless question. I’m still wondering why you chose to marry Jeff.

There are lots of men out there and then the only man you saw was Jeff Mikealson, the guy who kidnapped Brandon’s children and tried to kill Hannah…..” Elizabeth said like she was a better person.

“Please do not forget to add the part you played in the plan of killing me ,” Hannah said as she continued eating.

“Whatever!! So you all gonna sit and watch her marry Jeff?” Elizabeth asked, looking confused. No one was reacting the way she expected them to react, instead, they were all in support of her.

She knows Jeff wasn’t just getting married to Jessica for love, he had something under his sleeve.

“Since when do you care about who Jessica married or anything about this family?” Arianna asked and Elizabeth stared at them angrily.

“Enough!!! I’m going to marry Jeff, and that is final, if you are not okay with it Grandma, please leave the house and after the marriage, you can come back”
