Hannah sighed softly and walked out of the study room leaving Jessica and Brandon all alone. Their mind was already made up and there was nothing she could do about it.

It wasn’t like she had a soft spot towards Jeff because he deserved whatever was coming for him, but instead, all she could think about was Jeff’s Son, David.

David was still a child, if Jeff went down, his child was gonna suffer. He’s still a kid and doesn’t deserve such.

She sighed as she climbed down the stairs. Micheal was about to leave.

“I will be on my way, Hannah,” Micheal said and Hannah smiled.

“It was nice seeing you today,” Hannah said and Micheal nodded in response, before opening the door and walked out of the house.

A few minutes after he walked out, the door opened again, and then the Devil in black walked in, dragging a luggage inside the house.

Both Hannah and Arianna kept staring at her wondering who owned the luggage.

“Alexander, I need some help here” Grandma Elizabeth yelled and turned only to see Hannah and Arianna staring at her.

“Oh wow, guess who we have here, The gold digger. I thought you left with your kids, what are you doing here?” Elizabeth asked and Hannah rolled her eyes.

“You have no right to ask me what I’m doing here. Besides, this is my husband’s house and I can come and go anytime I want, and guess what? This time, I’m back to stay for good ” Hannah said and Elizabeth scoffed.

“Says the Divorced wife. you must be joking because I know you and Brandon are divorced” Elizabeth said and Arianna laughed.

“Then you got misinformed. Brandon never signed the divorce paper and as long as he didn’t sign it, this house and everything he has belongs to me” Hannah said as she waved her hands, flaunting the Diamond ring on her finger.

Elizabeth glared at her disgustingly.

“In case you are curious, Brandon got her the ring,” Arianna said and Elizabeth scoffed

“Now I know what happened to the Kardashian’s stolen ring,” Elizabeth said

“What’s going on here?” Brandon asked.

He and Jessica could be seen climbing down the stairs.

He then saw a big luggage beside Elizabeth.

“Is someone moving in?” Jessica asked and Elizabeth smiled.

“No, I went shopping, most of my clothes were old and I needed to change of wardrobe,” Elizabeth said Jessica didn’t say a word instead she walked away.

Just then Brandon heard his phone ring, it was a call from the DPO.

He quickly answered the call and walked away from them.

“Hello,” Brandon muttered as he answered the phone call.

“Hello, sir. Liam has been requesting to see you, he said he has something important to tell you” the police officer said and Brandon sighed softly.

“I will be there in a jiffy, ” Brandon said and ended the call. He hopped inside his car and zoomed off.

Brandon is seen with Liam, sitting in an empty room. There was a police officer with them but Brandon asked him to leave and give them some privacy.

“What did you want to talk about?” Brandon asked as he maintained a straight face.

“I know you hate me, Brandon. But I’m sorry.

I just wanted to tell you the truth about everything” Liam said and Brandon nodded and asked him to continue.

“I knew from the start that Rhoda wasn’t the woman you raped years ago. I was the one who paid her and told her everything she was going to do because you were so eager to find that lady and if you didn’t, it might ruin our friendship.

I had to think of something. Rhoda started acting out and was posing to be a threat to Hannah and her kids. I warned her several times but she threatened to expose me to you.

Until she kidnapped Jayden and I found out. She planned on killing Jayden, but when I found out she held him hostage, I confronted her and she tried to kill me.

I didn’t mean to kill her, it was a mistake. I was so scared that I had to lie and make it look like Hannah did it.

He felt speechless. He then stood up and gave Liam one last stare, then walked out of the room leaving Liam all alone.

At the Colby’s Mansion

A Black car screeched to a halt in front of Colby’s mansion. Brandon alighted the car and walked inside the house, where he met Arianna playing with the kids.

It was already dark outside, which meant Hannah and the kids would be spending the night. Brandon didn’t know why, he felt a leap of joy in his heart.

He climbed upstairs and went to his room which is also Hannah’s room. He opened his door and the room was empty.

He wondered why Hannah wasn’t in the room. Just then he caught a glimpse of Hannah’s phone on the bed.

He sighed softly knowing she must be somewhere around the house. He was about to walk out of the room when he saw Hannah walk out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her chest and a towel wrapped around her hair too.

Brandon swallowed into nothing as he stared at her flawless skin. Hannah, who had now noticed Brandon’s presence in the room, yelled at once.

“What are you staring at?” She yelled and Brandon, who was already in deep thoughts, jolted out of it.

“What’s wrong? Ain’t you my wife? Besides, if I see a thing I haven’t seen before, I would throw a thousand dollars at it” Brandon said and Hannah frowned.

“I need to get dressed, leave,” Hannah said and Brandon rolled his eyes.

“Seems like you’ve forgotten we are married, it’s high time we start doing what other couples do,” Brandon said and sat on the bed not willing to leave the room.

“We ain’t a couple. I’m still waiting for you to sign the divorce papers. Do you think we are good because I came here?

Oh, you are wrong, Brandon, I only came here because of the kids and I’m here now because they refused to go home with me and Arianna begged me to stay. So please, stop making it look like it’s because of you.

Besides, the both of us will never work and just so you know, I have someone else already” Hannah lied as she stared at Brandon whose facial expressions changed immediately.

Brandon stood up from the bed and moved towards Hannah, who took a step back.

With every step Brandon takes, Hannah takes a step backward, till her back hits the wall.

She swallowed hard as she stared at Brandon who was staring deep into her eyes like he was searching for something that had gone missing.

“Did you mean it when you say you have someone else?” Brandon asked, looking straight into her eyes. The looks he was giving her were driving cold shivers into her veins.

“No, alright! No!!” Hannah said and tried pushing him away when suddenly, her towel looosed and fell from her chest leaving her naked in front of Brandon.
