Brandon stared at both Arianna and Jessica. Jessica was so soft towards her and accepted her too early, he sure wasn’t going to do the same, he thought, and then walked out of his study room leaving Arianna and Jessica all alone.

He stood for a few seconds and walked towards her dressing table. Memories of when he and Hannah had arguments came running inside his head.

They’ve never had a sweet romantic memory, all the memories of her that he had was when they were arguing over one thing or another that might not even make sense.

He smiled as he remembered the day Hannah had packed inside his house and he told her they were going to share the same room, her face had turned sour that day.

Brandon smiled, tears filled his eyes. Hannah was the lady he had raped years ago and he didn’t know that. The octuplet looks so much like him yet he was just so dumb that he couldn’t see the truth standing in front of him.

Just then he heard his phone ring, it was a call from Liam. He immediately answered the phone call.

“She’s at the airport now, her flight leaves in the next two hour,” Liam said and Brandon raised his eyebrows.

“Woah, I need you to stall her before I get there,” Brandon said and ended the call.

He walked out of the room and climbed down the stairs. He walked to the living room and saw Alexander closing the door holding a sealed paper in his hands.

“Sir, I was about to come to give you this,” Alexander said as he gave Brandon the paper.

“What’s that?” Brandon asked as he took it and tore it open.

He brought out the paper and read it, it was a divorce letter. Hannah was serious about getting a divorce.

He felt his heart shattered as he held the paper in his hands.

He sighed softly and walked out of the house, he ignited the engine and zoomed off.

He was going to stop Hannah from leaving the country. He wasn’t gonna let her leave, she was his and his alone.

Meanwhile, Arianna and Jessica are seen in Jessica’s room discussing random things when Jessica hears her phone ring.

She checked the caller’s ID and saw it was Jefferson, her boyfriend. He finally called after a long time, Jessica thought as she stared at the phone without answering it.

“You’re not gonna answer that?” Arianna asked and Jessica raised her head.

“No,” Jessica said and ended the call. She felt so angry at Jeff for not calling her in the past few days neither returning her phone calls nor text messages. She wondered what kind of boyfriend he was, she thought to herself.

“Why? Who is that?” Arianna asked

“My boyfriend, ” Jessica said and Arianna smiled. Jessica has a boyfriend already, how time flies. She could remember the time she held little Jessica in her arms. She smiled softly.

“What? Why are you giving me that look?” Jessica asked.

“Nothing honey. Just thinking that my baby girl is now grown. I missed a lot more of the things about you, I wasn’t even there to watch you grow into an adult” Arianna said as tears gathered in her eyes.

“Hey Mom, stop crying. It’s fine. I’m here now, you are here now and you won’t leave again, I and Brandon will protect you” Jessica said and Arianna smiled at her.

Just then she heard her phone ring again and she rolled her eyes without checking the caller’s ID, thinking it was Jeff.

“You should talk to him,” Arianna said

“No, I don’t want to, he stopped answering my calls days ago and now he’s just calling like everything is alright? No, I won’t” Jessica said and Arianna raised her eyebrows and sighed.

“At least hear what he’s about to say,” Arianna said and Jessica nodded. This time her phone that was ringing had already ended.

“I would love to meet your boyfriend one of these days. I need to see the man that my daughter is in love with and I’m going to make sure he doesn’t break your heart.

I promise” Arianna said and Jessica smiled.

Just then she heard her phone ring again.

This time it was Brandon calling.

She quickly answers the phone call.

“I want you and Mom to come to the airport right now, ” he said and with that, he ended the call.

Both Jessica and Arianna stared at each other wondering what Brandon was doing at the airport.

They both stood up and walked out of the room. Just as they were about climbing down the stairs they both saw Grandma Elizabeth walking out of the kitchen.

Elizabeth frowned as she saw Jessica and Arianna catching up so fast. She had told Jessica a lot of bad things about her mom that she left and abandoned them but yet she just can’t leave her mom alone since she came.

“Grandma, are you alright?” Jessica asked and Elizabeth forced herself to smile.

“Why don’t you wait in the car, Jessica? I and Grandma Elizabeth have some catching up to do” Arianna said and Jessica nodded before walking away leaving just Arianna and Grandma Elizabeth all alone.

“I know what you are thinking. You watched your son pull the trigger blah blah. Guess what? I survived. Now, you can leave me and my children alone, I’m back now, this time to stay permanently ” Arianna said and Elizabeth swallowed hard. She felt scared of Arianna, she wasn’t the same lady her son had married years ago.

Arianna checked her wristwatch. She gave Elizabeth one last look before walking away.
