Chapter 35 Someone's Heart Wasn't There
Not so much voice could be heard now, only Walter and Samuel folding their cards, and occasionally
words from Johnthan and Samson, "Check."Seeing Walter's confident look,
Tina felt so anxious that her throat tightened, and then she cast a glance at Samuel's cards.
Samuel didn't get quite good cards while Walter was lucky and confident. So, he was near the
victory. But Walter was on edge, they should consider more carefully.
Tina looked at Walter on her opposite side who picked up the wine at hand leisurely and took a sip.
Obviously, it looks like Walter might be a shoo-in.
"If you lose, will you undress me in person?"
As a wave of panic ran over Tina, Samuel's warm breath passed her ear, like a small brush scratching
her. She felt ashamed and then turned her blushing face.
"We fold."
Caitlyn suddenly spoke, breaking the silence. When Walter was staring at Tina, Caitlyn placed Walter's
cards face down.
Walter darkened his face and then glowered at Caitlyn.
Caitlyn was frozen with fear, "What's up?"
Walter then looked away coldly.
Jonathan giggled and turned to Samuel. "Mr. Langford, so interesting. You won!"
After a moment of shock, Tina then felt relieved and said, "Check."
It seemed that Walter couldn't win easily.
Caitlyn was worried about Samuel, so she took the initiative to fold. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
Indeed, Walter got sullen and followed her.
Samuel suddenly felt boring since then, and he gave his cards to Tina. He didn't want to play now.
Tina continued to fold a 10, and she folded all cards because Walter kept saying "pass."
"Mr. Johnson, what cards did you get?" Kara couldn't help but ask.
With one hand supporting his chin, Walter turned and opened his cards. He got a full house.
Meanwhile, Samuel opened out his cards and it was a straight.
"Someone's heart isn't there."
Kara clicked her tongue and glanced at Caitlyn with a little disdain. If Caitlyn hadn't given up before the
showdown round just now, Samuel would have lost the game.
With a cold face, Walter took off his shirt, revealing his well-refined figure, and sat down again.
He gave Caitlyn a push and pointed at Tina.
"You two, change the seats."
Tina didn't expect him to be so straightforward. She looked up at Caitlyn with a relieved look.
An awkward silence ran over the private room. Caitlyn was pulled up from her seat and took a step
inside with embarrassment.
Feeling the piercing gaze from behind, Tina braced herself to stand up, but the arm on her waist
suddenly exerted force and tightly imprisoned her.
Samuel straightened up as his face sank and his gaze swept over the room under the cold light emitted
by the crystal lamp, giving off a powerful and domineering vibe.
He took a glance at Walter and said, "There's something wrong with your woman. Change another
one."
Then Samuel grabbed a handful of chips on the table. "On my account."
What Samuel meant was that he wanted Walter to pick one among the other bunny girls in the club.
Walter felt embarrassed and sneered, "Mr. Langford, I brought the woman in your arms here."
Walter caught a glimpse of Tina arrogantly, crossed his arms over his chest, and looked at Samuel.
"How about we ask her opinion?"
Tina was speechless and cursed the two men and that stupid Caitlyn secretly.
"Tina, say something." Kara put her hands on her cheeks as if she was watching the show. "Which side
are you going to?"
She would be dead no matter which side she went to because she couldn't afford to offend anyone!
With a straight face, Tina couldn't think of any way to compromise as her throat tightened.
Suddenly, a phone rang, easing the tense atmosphere.
As if she was relieved, Tina looked into the direction of Samson.
Samson raised his hands in an apologetic gesture. "My phone! I'm sorry. Please forgive me."
Tina was so grateful to Samson, not mention forgiveness.
When Samson took out his phone and glanced at the caller, his smile suddenly froze.
The phone was still ringing.
With a grin, Tima asked, "Why don't you answer it?"
Samson put the phone beside Samuel and knocked on the table, "Should I answer it?"
In such an embarrassing situation, Samson suddenly asked such a harsh question, which seemed that
he changed the topic on purpose.
Glancing at the caller ID, everybody saw it was from Sylvia.
