The cops took her away immediately.
Mateo started calling, I picked the call immediately.
” Your mom refused to come, What are you going to do?”
” How about Zoe?”I asked ignoring his questions.
” She’s fine, The doctor’s are trying to make her condition stable”
” Thank God”I mumbled.
” May…. ”
” Arrange my jet, We are leaving in a hour’s time, I will bring her myself”
” Alright”He mumbled before cutting the call.
” Dad,, Please take them home, they should stay in the mansion for the meantime”
” Your mom..”He stuttered.
“I will bring her here myself, Don’t worry”I patted his back before going out of the office.
I met a one of the cops waiting for me.
” Make sure you arrest all her aids, Including everyone who have anything to do with her, Make sure you take them with you and torture them well”I ordered before walking out of the corridor.

MAGNOLIA POV
I couldn’t keep it any longer, I bring out the documents I took from Maynard’s office months ago according to how Fleur advised me to help Maynard, Brea is a snake, She’s desperate as well.
I’m sure she took the fake one I reciprocated with it already.
I walked out of the office to Maynard’s office, But surprisingly, I met no one there except the old master coming out of the office.
” Good Morning Sir”I greeted and he glared at me.
I guessed he’s still angry due to our encounter the last time.
” What are you doing here?”
” I’m looking for Maynard”I stuttered in fear and he scoffed.
” He’s not here”He snapped.
” I want to give him this document”I stretched it at him, He stared at me closely before collecting it from me, His face litted up immediately.
” Hoe did you get this? “He yelled and grabbed me immediately.
Fear coursed through my body!, Oh God!, He misunderstood me already.
” It’s not what you think”I stuttered, He slapped me immediately with all his strength, pains enveloped me.
Oh, God!, This man is so brutal.
” I don’t have anything to do with it”
” So, All what Brea said about you is true?, You’re one of her accomplices as well?, I will make sure you pay for this”He threatened, Veins threatening to pop out of his forehead.
I trembled.
He dragged me to the cops and the man bundled me out of the company.

Getting to the station, They took me out and immediately I set my eyes on Brea, I rushed up to her not minding the pains.
” Brea”I sobbed and she turned to me, Her eyes glinted immediately she saw me and scoffed.
” Why are you here?”,
” I was misunderstood, Plesee tell them I knew nothing about this”I sobbed and she almost laughed.
” Zoe told me she knew nothing about it, Yet, They let me ki*ll my own daughter because if their own unforgiving spirit, Won’t it be nice to give birth to this baby inside the prison”She scorned.
” No, Please, I can’t endure it, Let me release me, I promise to do whatever you tell me to do ”
” I’m sorry, I can’t help”She sighed and the cops dragged her away to a separate cell.

Maynard, where are you?
MAYNARD POV
Later at night, We arrived at the small house and to our surprise, We met mom packing her bags.
Ava and Gabriel were crying already.
What’s happening?
” Mom, Please let us wait for him, He told us he will come back for us”Ava pleaded but she shook her head.
” No, it’s better for us to live in hiding for the rest of our lives, He doesn’t care about us”She shook her head.
I felt a stab in my chest immediately.
Mom said I didn’t care about her?
” Mom!!”I yelled immediately and she looked at me in horror, Her face aghast.
” Brother”Ava yelled and rushed to hug me immediately, Gabriel ran as fast as his long legs could carry him.
I scooped him in my arms, Tears rushed down my face.
” You said I didn’t care about you?, Yet, I traveled all the way here to settle things?, Or because Dad didn’t bother about it?”
” It’s not what you think”She sobbed.
” Or is it because I refused to point out your own faults in this?, You caused all this mom!!, You brought Brea into our lives and introduced her as your childhood friend!, Did you remembered what I said then?!, I told you I didn’t trust her yet you didn’t listen to anyone, She set you up and took you to a bar, She sedated you and made a man sleep beside you, She sent the pictures to Dad, Trust me, Who won’t believe it?, Your adamant lifestyle had thrown us into chaos, Don’t you pity Gabriel at all?, He didn’t even recognize his own father!”
” I’m sorry, It wasn’t my fault, Forgive me, I don’t know maybe my husband will forgive me, That’s why I want to run away”
” Run away?!, If you’re to run away, You should leave without Ava and Gabriel because they deserved to live happily with their own father”I snapped and grabbed Ava hand, We walked out of the house together not until mom held my legs, She was kneeling down.
” Promise me that you will talk to your Dad”
” He told me to bring you to the family house, if you’re ready, you should follow me, My boys will bring the important things here later”I replied in a more softer tone
” Thank you”She cried and hugged me immediately.
Maynard took Gabriel from me and we both walked out of the house together.

THE NEXT DAY•~•
The jet just took off early in the morning, We arrived at Atherton around 10AM.
Royce was waiting for me already but his fave isn’t smiling.
I got worried as he walked up to me.
” What happened?” I asked as I cradled the sleeping Gabriel in my hands.
” Magnolia was arrested yesterday and they have been toturing her”He said in panic.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.
Mom collected Gabriel from me immediately.
” On whose order? “I yelled and he took in a deep breath before answering.
” Your Dad, He’s on his way to the station already, They have hurt her badly, I think you should go”
” Give me the car keys, Meet me in the car with Mateo if you wish to follow me”I mumbled immediately trying to conceal my anger due to the press around us.
He gave me the keys, I hopped into the car immediately.
