Chapter 361
Chapter 361
Luca’s POV
A scowl formed on my face as I watched the phone finslly stopped ringing.
Why the fuck was she calling me?
Why the fuck gave her my number? Or how did she get it?
The entire memory of last night back at persona flooded my mind in that moment and I threw my head
back to let out a small groan, as regret and so much guilt once again flooded my entire veins.
The phone began to ring after about a minute and I swore loudly as I answered the call and pressed it
against my ear on confirming that it was indeed Alexa again.
“How did you get my number?” I demanded before she could speak, teeth clenched and head
pounding.
I heard a scoff at the other side of the phone before she let out a small chuckle, I was sure she was
also rolling her eyes, right before she spoke.
“Relax, Luca.” She murmured, voice soft like she was trying to be persuasive.
She had just failed woefully at that, apparently.
“Alexa.” I said after that. It was a clear warning, one she didn’t miss.
“Well, I’ve had it all these while, before I traveled, remember?” She spoke after a few seconds. Her
voice was starting to make my head pound even harder, probably because it was reminding me of what
I had done with her last night, which in turn had been what had made me unable to get a good night’s
sleep last night.
“I don’t remember shit, Alexa.” I informed her, scoffing when she let out a huff after that.
“You gave me this number, this exclusive one, I’ve had it since and…”
“Why are you calling me?” I demanded impatiently.
“Well, because, you know? I had been hesitant all those years, which was why I never bothered to read
out, because you also didn’t call me. But when we met last night, i realized that there was still so much
chemistry between us, and then–“
The more she spoke, the more my head throbbed, and I was trying hard to avoid lashing out at her
because I wasn’t that kind of person, but she was making that really hard right now.
“Alexa, stop.” I finally halted her, having already tuned her out a few minutes ago. My eyes was
squeezed shut and I was caressing my eyes, trying to create some sort of relief to my throbbing head
by massaging my eyes.
“Alexa, last night was a mistake, note this.” I finally continued, ignoring the gasp that echoed into my
ear at that moment.
“But… but –” She attempted to speak once again but I cut her off.
“But nothing, Alexa. Last night was a mistake and it would definitely not be happening again. We do not
have any sort of chemistry between us, don’t start being delusional right now.”
“But, Luca…”
“But nothing, Alexa. Do not call this number any longer. Ignore it like you’ve always ignored it all these
years, I’ll prefer it that way.” I breathed out and then I exhaled before continuing.
“I’m hanging up right now. Have a pleasant life, Alexa.”
“What? Luca, wait—” She began to hurriedly speak but I hunged the phone on her before she could
complete her sentence, discarding my phone on my piled up table.
A sigh eased out of my chest as I slumped further into my chair.

Sofia’s pov
Luca already informed me that I was going to be contacted by the directing firm’s team leader who’d be
sending me private links to different locations in which I was to pick my favorites for, where the art
display was going to be hosted in.
Once I select the different locations, I was going to have to narrow those options down to two, and then
I was going to be meeting up with the firm’s team in person, in order to see those last two options
physically where I’d then pick a final option.
I was so excited, everything was actually happening and it was making me so damn happy.
The days went by in a blur, and as the day went by, the more I got busier with getting everything
together for the launch
Kayla spent a lot of time with me in the house in order to assist me with getting everything together.
She had been the one to birth the idea in the first place, so it was only fair that she helped me out
thoroughly.
She was even really triller to be doing this, she made me promise to give her an actual spot in the
whole planning of the launch, and I promised I was going to do just that.

the permission to expend my arts, it was like something had happened because he continued to return This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
home late after that night.
I tried not to think too much about it but it was starting to eat me up from the inside. He wasn’t acting
like he used to any longer, and that realization always sit heavily in the lowest part of my stomach.
I hated how worrisome I could get, which is exactly why I’ve been trying not to think about him no
longer being all over me like he usually used to, and instead decided to distract myself with the
preparation of my launch.
Despite how much it irked me, I still tried to maintain a smile around him, because it could be that he’s
getting some trouble at work that’s really stressing him out and taking so much of his time.
I had just finished talking to my younger brother on the phone, inviting him over for my launch, because
it would make me impossibly happy if he’d be available. He agreed to come instantly and was estatic
about it. I planned to surprise him with a portrait of him which I had finished working on some days ago.
