Betrayed 15
Chapter 15
ANNABELLE.
That was a question I wasn’t really ready to answer because I felt bad that the dress he bought specifically for me had ended up in the hands of Lady Emily, who destroyed it.
“I… I…”
“It’s fine… If you don’t want to say who destroyed it, I won’t force it.”
“No, Derek, it’s not that…”
“Don’t bother, Anne. Nevertheless, that won’t stop you from attending this party.”
“But how? I don’t have a…”
“Zach!” He called for his guard, who immediately rushed into the room, his head facing the ground in a slight bow.
“Yes, Alpha.” Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
“Go to the Royal Boutique and get the exact dress I got for her.”
“But sir, that was the first and only copy ever. It’s a limited edition.”
“What?!” I screamed in shock, jumping out of the bed, already feeling terrible that the dress was mercilessly destroyed by Lady Emily.
Alpha Derek couldn’t help but laugh at my actions.
“You should still be in bed, Anne.”
“But… The dress… Limited edition…”
“Calm down…” He laughed and then turned his attention back to his guard. “Get me another limited edition of the most expensive dress in the Royal Boutique.”
“No. No. No.” I shook my head and didn’t know when I knelt before him.
“Please don’t do that, Alpha Derek. I mean, Derek.” He chuckled again at my nervousness and gently raised me back up.
Chapter 13
“Go, Zach, and do just that.”
“No, please, no, Zach, I mean, Lord Zach. I mean…”
“Zach, go!” His voice was laced with a commanding tone.
“Yes, Alpha.” The moment his guard, Zach, left the room, Alpha Derek’s eyes immediately turned dark, like molten lava.
“Don’t you ever call him Lord. Ever. If you are to call anyone Lord, I will be the one. I am your Lord.”
“Huh?”
“Do you understand?!” He said in a commanding tone, making me nod my head nervously.
“Yes, yes…” I replied, already feeling scared.
“Good, now, come here.” He pulled me up and didn’t stop until I was between his legs.
“Anne, you don’t need to worry about the cost. I can afford to buy you whatever you want… I am more than capable.”
“I don’t mind spending my money on you. In fact, I love it when I spend it on you, rather than on…” He didn’t complete his statement, but I understood what he meant. “So…”
“I’m sorry. I just didn’t know it was that expensive. Don’t get me wrong, I knew it was expensive, but I didn’t know it was the only one in the world. If I had known…”

“If not, you wouldn’t have let it be destroyed?” he asked.
I sighed, knowing fully well that what would happen would still happen.
“I’m sorry
that I was careless. I’m sorry I couldn’t protect the dress well and allowed it to fall into the hands of…”
“The hands of who?” he asked curiously.
“Uhm…”
“Who?! It’s Emily, isn’t it? She destroyed the dress, right?”
“Derek…”
“She’s the one. Exel” Derek cursed as he let is fingers roam through his hair in a Drustrated manner.
“Why couldn’t you just tell me she was the on? And how did it end up in her hands?”
“I don’t know, I was just…just locked strolling”
JANG
“Locked? Did you just say locked, Anne?”
“No, I meant strolling, Derek.
“Anne, tell me the truth. Were you locked up somewhere?!”
I shuddered in fear and couldn’t escape, especially now that I was between his legs, his hands holding my waist.
“No, Derek, it was a slip of
“Annabelle!” He yelled, his voice laced with anger, which scared me, especially because he called me by my full name and not my nickname.
I sighed, knowing I wouldn’t be able to win this at all. Derek looked all serious, which meant he would stop at nothing just to get the answers he so desperately sought.
“She’s the one, right? She locked you up, didn’t she?”
“…” I didn’t answer him. All I did was just stare back at him, and he seemed to understand what my silence meant.
“Was she also the one who poisoned you with the Wolfbane?”
“…” Again, I kept quiet, which meant that it was correct. When he saw that I was silent, his eyes immediately turned into a lava of fire as he slammed his fist on the bedside table before jumping off his chair, gently pushing me aside.
He walked with full strides to the door, and I instantly knew what he wanted to do.
“Derek, please…
“Anne, stay back!” he commanded, his alpha aura radiating through the room. I got so scared and retreated to the bed.
Twaxcared Not for myself, but for Lady Emily.
I was scared of what Derck might do to her….
3rd POV
Derek strode to Lady Emily’s room, with anger emitting from his body. When he got there, he didn’t bother knocking on her door and opened it with a force that was capable of breaking it.
“Derek! You should have knocked. Can’t you see I was dressing?” Lady Emily screeched as she held the towel tightly around her waist. From the looks of things, she was getting ready for the party, which was about twenty minutes from starting.
Derek didn’t answer her. Instead, he held her by the throat, his face still emitting a certain amount of thermal energy that was capable of boiling a whole fountain.
“De… De… Re,” Lady Emily struggled to talk as she tried to free her hand from Derek’s strong hold.
Omega Fay, who was standing beside her with the dress Lady Emily was about to wear, shuddered in fear.
She couldn’t bear to see the dead body of the lady she had been serving ever since she was young and knew she had to do something.
“How dare you lock her up in a room and poison her with Wolfbane!” Derek yelled, his hands tightening around her neck.
When Omega Fay saw it, her entire being shook like leaves. She knew she had to do something that would save her lady from the angry w
