Steal a Look
Only one month has passed, Gifer, Haris, and Sekar are always discussing stocks and companies with Kiano. It actually made Kiano’s sister, aka Kinara, bored. But how else? If she didn’t go with her brother, she would never be able to see the love of her life, Gifer, every day. That’s all he wants. Even though Kiano’s original secretary had long asked permission to go to work, Kiano did not allow it.
Instead, he asked her to stay at home to look after her children and husband with her salary not being deducted at all. Very nice, isn’t it? Not working, but still getting a monthly paycheck. All of this was clearly done by Kiano just to fulfil the wishes of Nara, his only sister. Nara continued to stare at Gifer’s face without writing down the topic of the meeting between business clients. Of course, that made Kiano a little annoyed with his sister.
His purpose in inviting her to the meeting with Gifer’s company was because he wanted Nara to also focus on taking notes or even typing every office discussion, just like Sekar who had now started moving her fingers to type on her laptop. Seeing Nara’s behaviour which only looked at Gifer’s face actually made Haris uncomfortable.
Nara’s gaze seemed to be like a person who was in love or just a mode if she was Kiano’s secretary, even though the girl really intended to meet Gifer every day so that she could look at Gifer’s face all the time. Haris cleared his throat and tried to reprimand her.
“Ekhm! Ekhm! Ekkkkhm Ekkhhm!”
Hearing that, of course, made everyone turn their attention towards Haris, including Nara. Gifer who was confused immediately stopped his conversation.
“What’s wrong, Ris? Are you sick? Why are you clearing your throat like that?”
“No, I just want to give a little warning, that the secretary’s job is to take notes or even create a file in the form of a proposal on a laptop, not just stare at her business client with an impolite gaze like that. Right Miss Kinara?” Haris. deliberately pressed Nara’s name, so that the girl would understand and not repeat the same thing.
“Ah, yes. Very well, sir,” Nara replied briefly with a wry smile.
If it wasn’t an official meeting like this, she would have replied to Haris’ words more harshly, but she didn’t because she still respected her brother and also so that Gifer wouldn’t cancel this cooperation. If it was cancelled, then all the plans to approach Gifer would be destroyed instantly. He didn’t want that to happen, so he tried to put his ego aside.
Haris was a little happy because after being warned, Nara could accept it well and started writing down what she needed to do. But it didn’t last long, because afterwards she was still doing the same thing, looking at Gifer intensely and not focusing on taking notes or even making proposals.NôvelDrama.Org owns © this.
It also did not escape Kiano’s sight when he was about to talk to Gifer again. Knowing that Kiano then reprimanded Nara by nudging the girl’s elbow, giving a sign to immediately refocus on work, not just looking at Gifer. The meeting was over, Kiano and Nara said goodbye to Gifer to go home.
“Mr Gifer, if you have time, can we meet outside of working hours? Ah, I mean to make it less formal. My sister is curious about what you as Gifer, not Mr CEO would be like outside of working hours.”
“Yes, sir. If possible, it would be nice if we could chat freely outside of work hours,” Nara confirmed Kiano’s words.
“Yes, of course. But unfortunately I’m very busy every day, even on weekends I have to do other work. So, I’m sorry, I don’t think I can, Mr Kiano, Miss Nara,” Gifer refused. Actually Gifer had time, but that free time was only used to meet his lover, not to deal with Kiano’s sister.
‘You’re lying, Gif. I know that, you just want to spend your time with your lover, right? I know that, because that time I saw you making out with that girl. You see, I’m going to ruin your meeting with your girlfriend, I have to give your girlfriend a lesson so she can’t see you anymore!’ Nara said to herself. Her face was bright red as she held back the anger that was churning in her heart.
“Well, no problem, Mr Gifer. Maybe next time. Alright, we’re going home first. Excuse me,” Gifer just nodded obediently.
“Be careful on the road, Mr Kiano.” Kiano and Nara agreed to Gifer’s words.

In a famous hospital in Jakarta, Nusantara Hospital, Belvina was asking the doctor about the eye donor stock. She did not mess around with her promise that she would make Gifer see again like before. She just wanted her lover to be able to see her face.
Therefore, she tried her best to find an eye donor in every corner of the hospital in Jakarta. Actually, Belvina was not alone, but with Anggi. But the girl was asked by Belvina to find out to other hospitals about the eye donor stock. Now, Belvina was sitting while waiting in line to meet the general practitioner of Nusantara Hospital.
“Hah… I hope there will be an eye donor this time, amen. Even though this is the first hospital I’ve visited. Hopefully, Anggi will also get it,” he said hoping with the almighty.
“Queue number 24, please enter the room.” Said the nurse, Belvina immediately entered the doctor’s room.
“What is the complaint, sis?” She asked, thinking that Belvina was sick. Even though she only wanted to ask about the eye donor stock, she had to pretend to be sick to be allowed to see the doctor.
“Ah, I’m not sick, doctor. I came here to ask, is there a stock of eye donors in this hospital? My boyfriend is blind, doctor. I want my boyfriend to be able to see again, that’s why I’m asking,” The doctor was surprised. Doesn’t it hurt? But why are you asking for eye donor stock? The doctor thought. After the girl in front of him explained, the doctor finally knew the direction of the girl’s conversation.
“For stock, it’s very difficult to find, brother. Not all corpses, their families are willing to donate the eyes of the corpse. Only people who are truly willing to donate their eyes can make your boyfriend see again,”
“But doctor, can you inform me when there is a stock of eye donors from people who are sincere in donating them? Here, I’m giving you my phone number, if there is someone who wants to donate his eyes, I will be very grateful. I will pay all the fees in full,” Belvina handed over a piece of paper with her phone number on it.
“Alright, but for the near future, I can’t make any promises, maybe in the next few months, if at all,” the doctor explained.
“Thank you, doctor. Then I’ll take my leave,” Belvina bowed as a sign of respect to the doctor, then straightened up again and left.
“That girl seems to really love her boyfriend. I hope I can fulfil her wish, so that she can be happy with her boyfriend who can see again.”
