Chapter 49 I Don’t Care
Chapter 49 I Don’t Care
Diana Shaw walked downstairs, got in Judson Ray’s car and sat on the passenger seat without saying
anything.
After Diana buckled the seatbelt, he stepped on the accelerator and drove off the neighborhood without
saying anything, either. He drove very fast for a long time. Finally, he hit the brake on a remote road
with no people around.
After parking the car, Judson stalled the engine and turn off the light. The yellow streetlight was
streaming into the car. He stared at the empty road ahead of him and said in a cracked voice, “I …”
Diana was shaking. Then she unfastened her seatbelt, got off the car, and walked away without say
anything to Judson. She had mixed feelings and there were tears in her eyes.
Judson went after Diana. When he found her walked faster and faster, He yelled at her, “Diana, I miss
you.”
Diana stopped there suddenly.
Then she turned around with tears in her eyes and yelled at Judson, “You come and leave as you wish.
So, what do think who am I?
Judson took a deep breath and growled, “It is enough!”
Diana panted heavily, and then she cried and shouted, “It isn’t.”
“All your words are not true, not true!”
“If you don’t love me, why did you do so many things that made me moved? Why”
“If you love me, why did you hurt me again and again? Why?”
“Why!” Standing not far from Judson, Diana cried and questioned him.
Judson was shocked there. The breeze was blowing. He could say nothing. Later, he walked to Diana
and gave her a hug. He held her tight.
Diana struggled in his hug. She punched on Judson’s chest and asked, “Why do you come now? Why?
Why do you come back to me after I have begun a new life? Why?”
Diana kept punching Judson. But Judson kept hugging her. He whispered in her ear, “I am sorry.” And
these three words were the only thing that Judson could say.
Diana wriggled out of Judson’s arms. Though she really hoped Judson could hug her, she got rid of it
now. Then she squatted on the ground and burst into tears.
After crying for a long time, Diana stood up. Her long hair was dancing with the cold wind. Though the
wind was cold, Judson and Diana ignored it.
“Diana, can we be together again?” Judson stared at Diana and asked in a husky voice.
Diana shook her head desperately and said, “We can’t be back together, Judson! We can’t.”
Judson growled, “Why we can’t be back? Why we can’t be back? I say we can and we can.” Judson
was shaking his arms and yelling.
Diana was still crying and shaking her head, “What about Jessica? She likes you so much! She loves
you! And what about Charles? What about him? Do you want to hurt them for us?” NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.
“I don’t care!” Judson yelled at Diana.
“I don’t care! I won’t care anyone. I have broken up with Jessica. I only want you to be with me.”
Judson pointed at Diana and shouted, “I! Only! Want! You!”
“If you don’t care, I’ll care!” Diana yelled at Judson desperately.
“Judson, you live a new life. And I also live a new life. If we are together, we only will hurt each other. I
am tired, really! Can we stop seeing each other? Can we…” Diana said in despair. She looked
exhausted at this time.
Yes, she loved Judson. However, in the six months after they got a divorce, she had exhausted her
feelings.
Judson was shock by Diana’s words, especially the last sentence that she said she didn’t want to see
each other anymore. The sentence was like a knife that stabbed into his heart and left a long big
wound. He stared at Diana astonishingly.
“Are you saying that we should stop meeting?”
Diana didn’t answer Judson’s question. At that time a taxi without passenger passed by. Diana turned
around and got in the taxi.
“Diana, I won’t give up. I want you back to me and you must!” Judson yelled behind the taxi.
“Miss, do you need to get off? I could wait for you for a moment.” Noticing that Judson chasing the taxi
and yelling at Diana, the taxi driver asked Diana with kindness.
Diana took a deep breath. Then she shook her head and said, “There is no need. Thank you. You can
go ahead.”
The driver sighed and drove the car.
“Diana, I love you. I love you. I love you… Come back!” Judson kept yelling and chasing the taxi.
Diana heard his yelling. She bit her arms and tied not to cry. But she didn’t look back. She didn’t have
feelings now. Though she loved Judson, she didn’t have the strength to hug him. She really didn’t have
it.
Diana didn’t stop the taxi. Judson had a car, but he didn’t drive to chase him. Because he knew that
even he did do, it was useless. Diana wouldn’t listen to him or be back to him.
Judson stood by his Benz and kicked the rearview mirror away… After he vented his sadness, he
smoked, and sat beside the road.
Back to her neighborhood, Diana got off the taxi sadly. She was like a soulless corpse and she walked
to her home.
When Diana entered the building, Charles was behind her. Actually, when Diana got in Judson’s car,
Charles was already here. He saw Diana off and saw she come back.
When he chased Diana, she said she loved a person. Now Charles realized that the person was
Judson. Looking at the desperate Diana, he knew that Diana loved Judson very much.
