Chapter 3163
Ivy chuckled. "I don't need you to tell me that!"
Caspian laughed. "All right, then! Just wait at the hotel! We will come by later."
"Sure!"
After ending the call, Caspian turned to look at Lucas. "Get Ivy to give you a few pointers later. The two of us have horrible taste, and she is better at picking clothes."
"Did you really have to wake her up this early in the morning?" Lucas asked.
"Ivy wasn't upset. She was quite excited when she heard that we were going shopping!"
"She wouldn't show it even if she was upset," Lucas retorted.
"Ivy isn't like that! Besides, it's not really that early! She may be a lady of high status, but she has a great temper," Caspian said.
Lucas fell silent and turned his focus back to his food.
After breakfast, Caspian dragged Lucas to the hotel Ivy was staying in.
Ivy was in the lobby and approached them with a smile when she spotted them.
Lucas handed Ivy the bag of food they had packed for her.
Ivy took the breakfast and said, "Thank you! Why are both of you up so early today?"
"Yeah! Lucas was too excited and couldn't sleep. You have no idea how nervous he was when he called me last night," Caspian lied.
Lucas shot Caspian a puzzled look and asked, "Do you always have to exaggerate things like that?"
Ivy could not help but burst into laughter. "Caspian, I know what kind of person Lucas is. He's always calm! You must have been the one who woke him up this morning." Caspian scratched his head and admitted, "You know him well."
"I don't think there's any need to be nervous. My big brother is a good person; he won't make things difficult for Lucas. Let's go. We should buy some clothes!" Ivy said. "Aren't you going to have breakfast first?" Caspian asked.
"I can eat while we walk."
Caspian was amazed. Ivy behaved nothing like a rich young woman.
"The mall should still be closed at this hour. Let's walk there. By the time we arrive, it should be open," Ivy said.Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.
"Are you sure you want to walk? It's at least half an hour away," Caspian replied.
"Should we just drive there and wait? It'll be the same."
Caspian sighed. "All right. We'll do it your way."
The three of them walked for half an hour to reach the mall.
When they arrived, the mall had just opened its doors.
Caspian, who had hardly slept the night before, was exhausted and slumped into a chair inside the mall. "I can't walk anymore! You two go and shop. I'm going to catch a cab and go home to sleep!"
"Are you serious? You woke us up, and now you're going back to sleep?" Lucas asked.
Ivy chuckled. "Let him go back to sleep! Let's go shopping."
Caspian waved his hand at Lucas. "Hurry up and take Ivy shopping! I'm creating an opportunity for to be alone. It's bad enough that you don't thank me. How dare you yell at me?"
Caspian finished his grumbling and left the mall.
Ivy held Lucas' hand and led him toward a men's clothing store.
"Do we really need to buy clothes? Is there something wrong with what I'm wearing?" Lucas felt that there was nothing wrong with his outfit.
"What you're wearing is fine, but we
we
can't wait until your clothes are worn
out before buying new ones, right?
Otherwise, clothing stores would go out of business," Ivy explained. en.swhovels.net
Lucas nodded. "Okay."
Ivy picked out two sets of clothes for Lucas to look at. "How about these?"
"As long as you like them," Lucas replied. He could not tell the difference, as he usually just bought clothes without thinking much about them.
