Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 992

Chapter 992

Aurora's tear-filled eyes made her appear pitiful, like a frightened kitten. She seemed so delicate that it naturally drew sympathy from others and made them disregard what had happened.

"Aurora, let me see." Theodore gently pulled Aurora's hand away and saw a clear handprint on her face.

He was furious. How much force had that slap taken?

Turning his head in anger, he demanded, "Rosalie, why did you hit her?"

He used to call her "Rose" affectionately, but now, for Aurora's sake, it was back to "Rosalie", as though everything had come full circle and returned to how things were before.

Back then, he had also defended Cynthia in the same way.

Rosalie's hands, hanging at her sides, trembled. "Because her mouth is filthy and vile."

"What did you say?" Theodore frowned, glancing at Aurora, who shook her head desperately.

"I... I just accidentally ended up here and wanted to chat with her. I don't know why she became so angry suddenly. I really don't."

Aurora appeared greatly frightened, clutching Theodore tightly, looking lost and vulnerable.

Her pitiful appearance ached Theodore's heart and intensified his anger.

"Rosalie, don't slander her. Aurora would never do something like that," he snapped.

Rosalie hadn't expected Theodore to believe her. If Aurora dared to use such tactics, it showed she knew Theodore well enough to exploit his weaknesses.

Back when Theodore was with Cynthia, it was the same. Cynthia played innocent and cried her way through every situation. Theodore always believed Cynthia. Now, Cynthia had simply been replaced by Aurora.

Theodore was drawn to such fragile women and believed in them easily. What could be done about it? It was his nature to pity them. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

He could believe and be kind to all other women, yet he doubted the woman he loved.

Rosalie had once trusted Theodore unconditionally, but everything he did destroyed her trust. He no longer deserved her trust.

"Yes, your Aurora would never say such things. She didn't come over and insult me, calling me promiscuous and accusing me of messing around with numerous men," Rosalie argued.

"Aurora would never say such filthy things," Theodore insisted. "Don't slander her."

In his eyes, Aurora was a

kind-hearted girl who was willing to

sacrifice everything for him. She so gentle, and she was willing to humble herself to become a substitute. How could she possibly say something so vile?

It was absolutely impossible. He didn't believe it.

He only saw Rosalie slap Aurora, and he believed only what he saw.

Rosalie laughed, "Yes, your Aurora could never say such things. Would you like me to prove that she was saying those things?" Rosalie pointed at her mouth.

She wanted to see how Aurora would defend herself against this.

Theodore froze.

A hint of panic flashed in Aurora's eyes. Damn it! She had gotten too cocky, and now Rosalie had caught her slip-up. What should she do? Theodore seemed a bit disbelieving as he looked down at the woman in his arms. "Aurora, did you tell her these things?"

These were extremely private matters. Why would Aurora say such things?
